Party Skills, Combinations, and Tactics

What team do you consider the best in FFX?
First time around we used Tidus, Wakka, and Auron mainly, but now I am using
Tidus, Lulu, and Yuna. I am considering using Tidus, Wakka, and Lulu/Yuna switching.

Tidus- main fighter: just attacks. Has confuse ward so he doesn’t kill all of his own team by accident. (overdrive mode: Warrior)

Lulu- magic support: cast bio, demi, or elemental, magic based on enemy. Use ultima and furies against bosses. (Overdrive mode: Slayer in early half, In later half, Stoic)

Yuna- Support: Casts curaga, nul-everything, esuna, dispel, shell, protect, and hastega. Ofcourse, she summons as well. (overdrive mode: ally)

Generally in a fight against elementals, Yuna casts the appropriate nul magic, lulu kills one with the appropriate spell, and tidus soaks up damage, as well as ofcourse attacks (equipped with the appropriate elemental-strike weapon) Against non elemental foes, Yuna will cast protect on herself and also cast hastega and will keep all characters healed, and without any status ailments. Lulu uses bio and demi, and also does damage with her elemental attacks. Tidus should do most of the killing, with yuna keeping him alive long enough for him to fill his overdrive gauge against stronger foes.

I find this is pretty good, but the addition of wakka may improve it:

Wakka-second fighter: use to kill fliers, and use full break and triple foul on everything. (overdrive mode: slayer in first half, warrior in second half)

What did you all use? (include skills, OD modes, tactics)

P.S. did anyone use Kimahri or Rikku in their main party?

Early on in the game, I use Wakka, Lulu, and Auron, which I believe is the best offensive team you could use.

Now that all my characters have max stats and all abilities, I use my. favs which are Wakka and Rikku, and I use Tidus just for the heck of it.
