Quina’s OK. He has a hilarious personality, and is very versile in battle, but he’s not that much reliable.

No you’re not! I don’t really like Blue mages, but Quina’s the best blue mage in all Final Fantasy! He/she’s hilliarious:D! I like it when he/she always thinks about food, its funny!

I like to have Quina in my team, because some of the skills he has are pretty good…..;)

i think Quina is a fat retarded pig who side tracked everyone to go catch frogs and other things. Although s/he has somewhat good abilities in battle, her/his character was made for the comic relief.

I’ve been wondering, is Quina an optional character, or do you have to get him when you go to Fossil Roo? I thought it was funny when Quina jumps into the water in Treno then says,"Hungry Hungry HUUNGRRYYYYYYY!!"LMAO! He/She cracks me up!!

Before you go into Gizamaluke’s Grotto s/he is an optional character. But before you go into Fossil Roo you have to talk to Quina because "Outer Continent" is too hard without an extra character.

Oh Yeah that’s right, because I couldn’t get near the Fossil Roo without Quina in my party. I know you have to go outside the entrance if you wanted to do the Mognet Central sidequest. Thanks to Quina, you could complete that sidequest!

Quina is great because s/he is different. The blue magic was alot better than 8 or 7.

I have to agree with you there! The blue magic was the best in FF9 because to me, all of the blue magic in all of the other ones kind of sucked. Quina’s also a funny character so that makes him/her even better!

Quina is unique, most of the blue magic was highly useful, for example night, puts deathguise to sleep, which makes it alot easier to defeat him; not to mention level 5 death with kills a grand dragon instantly and gains you alot of exp.
