Most annoying experience on FFXI?

if you have the game, then something/someone really annoying probably has happened to you. What are some of your most annoying experiences on FFXI?

Getting poisoned and going from 200 life to 0. >:(

Having the party look for a raiser while dead.

getting my kazahm keys.

being in a good party and having fun, but having someone in the party who won’t stop hitting on me. ;_;

Partying in Crawlers’ nest.

LVL 7 was my worst nightmare it just wouldn’t happen i kept dying and then finally some guy power lvld me.

Oh yeah, for me it’s running all the way to Valkurm from Bastok to meet up with someone for (random reason) and getting KO’d by some random IT monster that spawns behind me while I’m resting from another fight…

I usually travel alone, but I think from now on I’m going to party up, or try to… only thing, Bastok on the Sylph server isn’t the best place to find a balanced party for some reason. It’s almost always going to be mostly melee classes or magic users.

Most annoying experience: a player who sends me a message anytime he logs on, levels up, finds something, needs something, logs off.

Perhaps, but maybe he simply didn’t go to Dynamis yet.

I know I’m not going there before level 75, so of course by then I’ll be wearing my AF.

Sheesh, guys, don’t be so quick on passing judgment on those guys, especially if you didn’t even reach that level yourselves lol

lol I didn’t mean to attack anyone, Plasma. I’m sorry if it did offend you though. I only wanted to make my point, here. As I said, he probably simply didn’t go to Dynamis yet because he only recently reached level 75…Although if he INSISTS on keeping his AF, that’s another story lol

Personally, as a RDM or something, I’d be willing to go to Dynamix pre-75. Like, 70+. But only if I was the only one not level 75 😡

my worst experience is going to have to be the fact that i cant even get FFXI in New Zealand, which is a really big dissappointment to me.

dam, its been months since ive been on these forums, pc had a virus and pc was down for months, so im back and here goes my post!

worst experiece would have to be when i was lvl 16 in the dunes and was in some party that didnt believe we could kill damslflies, then i went and pulled one and we killed it, then they kicked me from the party and started spammin my ass, gay ass shit is what that is

most annoying thing is when random ppl talk shit

Being stalked to the point where I either use invisible and run (it works sometimes) or run to the mog house and exit out somewhere else.

Being talked down to by players who claim to be over lv 60 in another job.

Eco-warrior (Fucking morons are too eager to go kill stuff when our one clearer needs us to stand back so AOE drain doesn’t hold us up)

And the ultimate search for the ruby that took me 3 days of straight hacking away at leaches. There were three drops in the parties i was in before we got one for me (they kept winning the fricken lot). And I wouldn’t have gotten it except that other one decided to give it to me since they heard my 3 day long search story.

my most annoying was, getting put down to 2 hp by an enemy, defeating it, i then started healing and a weak assed orc attacked me while i was still on 2 HP, so, obviously, i died, i waited for 1/2 an hour with people just running past me, also levelling from 13 to 14 four times…

Okay, this isn’t annoying as much as it is strange.

I was fooling around with a new character yesterday, when I started getting bombarded with tells in Japanese. I let him know I didn’t understand the language, and went on my merry way.

However, that was not to be the end of it. He followed me everywhere I went, spamming the /wave emote, and started sending me tells that said "N A K O M A N I" instead.

Finally, I /bowed to him. He left me alone from that point on.

thats pretty damn weird, thats possibly the weirdest experience i have heard of in this game

well, in retrospect, it’s more funny then anything else.

but yeah, it was really, really weird at the time.

mine is kinda sad well i was killed by an enemy (sorry i just started the game i don’t renember the name of the enemy) so i waited for somebody to heal me so this hume male comes he poke me then he bowes down after that he claps then (thats right ait done yet) he laughs after that he heals me then says "my noose is big" can someboby tell what is going on:confused:
