I’m just not sure if I should try the quest in Mhaura or Selbina. I’ve heard good and bad things about both, and since a lot of you have already completed the subjob quest, I was hoping for some advice.
Mhaura Quest: um, two things, and something you get from killing a Bogy.
I did the Selbina quest, because all three items are dropped from guys in Valkurm (where I already was), I already had a Crab Apron (almost impossible not to get one if you fight Snippers), and all the monsters (Snipper, Damselfly, Ghoul) are easy (easy enough) for a lvl 16-17 party to kill.
The Magicked Skull proved a problem. If you can’t get one from the Ghouls in Valkurm, try to find a high-level WHM or RDM to take you into Gusgen and fight the many Ghouls there.
I don’t know much about the Mhaura quest, but that it involves killing a Bogy, something a lvl 16-17 pt cannot do, without maybe 5/6ths of the party dieing and everybody using their 2 hours 😛

Uh… you don’t get the subjob quest in Sand Oreo. Go to Selbina or Mhaura, I believe the person giving the quest in both instances is by the port. If you can’t find Selbina or Mhaura… then you really shouldn’t be looking for your subjob items yet =\.

They should help, but I will tell you the info for the subjob quest which I did the other day.
First speak to Isacio for the quest.(he is at the Selbina town, down by the water front on the north side; NE. Something like that) You dont need to talk to him, then go get the items, you can get the items, then go talk to him. After he sends you on the quest, you just trade the items he asks for to him when you get them.
You will then have to trade 3 items
which you can obtain in the Valkrum Dunes.
The items you need to get are the:
‘Damsefly Worm’ from the damsefly,
”crab apron’ from a snipper and a
‘Magicked Skull’ from a ghoul which will appear at nite around 20:00-4:00.
PS:when you trade him the items, you must give him the items in the orde he asks you when you go back to him to trade them.
After you do this, he explains stuff to you about the support job. You need to go back to San d’Oria to ur mog house and do it their under change jobs.
