Kotor 2

Im an xbox fan so i had to put this up, and im am even bigger starwars nerd, so here it goes.. Knights of the old republic 2, my friend told me about it today and he is bringing a magazine, he said it looks pretty sweet. for those of you that care ill be updating this thread when i find out more.

There was a big article about it in the newest EGM… looks pretty interesting… but again I wait for it to come to the PC… no reason to buy an X-box.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords.

Developed by Obsidian Software, which is a bunch of the old Black Isle crew.

It’s set 5 years after KOTOR1, and it involves the Sith spreading over the galaxy, and apparently a continuation of the Revan saga, though you won’t be playing that major part as before.

It’s based on the KOTOR engine with significant frame rate improvements, but it looks like nothing compared to BioWare’s own Jade Empire.

You play as a Jedi who did something to be outcast before the onset of the sith war, so you weren’t involved in the fighting, have little force skill, and have no lightsaber. The beginning of the game will ask a lot of questions of you, because the previous game had open endings depending on your choices, so you will establish what you did at the end of the first game at the beginning of the second by answering said questions. (Note: The two games have no connectability or anything, so your first game has nothing to do with your second)

Apparently there will be some cameos, though – astromech droid dude returns (I can’t remember it’s number/designation – shoot me), as well as that lovable rogue droid, HK-47.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Bastila showed her pretty face somewhere, too.
