Frustrating?

There have been many moments in FF that have pushed you over the edge and made you scream no more! Finding a secret cave, beating a difficult boss, winning a mini-game, etc.

But which one tops them all?

No doubt for me, it comes from FFIV:

Trying to get five Pink Tails from the PinkPuffs so you can acquire by far the best armor in the game for every character in your party. Yeah the trick where you use Alert works great, but you still only have a 1/64 chance of picking up the Pink Tail. And also, considering the fact that there are five PinkPuffs who Beserk most of your party all the time, sometimes the whole party, it makes the battle tougher if you get low on health and can’t heal yourself.

1/64!!! Come on. You only have a 1.6% chance to get the item if you kill the PinkPuffs. I fought them about thirty-five times tonight, and only got one. So I guess that is actually lucky!

But anyway, that is why I think the Pink Tail acquirement is the most frustrating moment in FF.

The part in FF 7 when you were in the temple of the ancients and it was kinda like a maze. Then you have to fight those two bosses to get out. I guess it pissed me off because everytime i died trying to fight the first boss I had to watch the whole thing with cloud and Seph again. I know there might be something worse but thats all i can think of right now

Yeah that sucked too. I just tried to get another Pink Tail for about an hour.

Finding the white SeeD ship for the first time, I screamed about that…..it seemed like I looked everywhere at the time….I found it eventually.

The train graveyard. It seems easy now but back then it was hell. It was one little bit that was so easy if you just thought about. I think it was the bit coming down from the girder and into the train carridge.

ff9, finding the chocograph that shows a picture of water…i dont remember how long it took me to find that…but i wanted to blow stuff up because of it. you know how much water there is in ff9?!
