Storyline??? (SPOILERS)

does anybody get the storyline cos i dont????

i get the Yuna trying to find Tidus story but what does Baralai and Seymour have to do with it????

i think its just clues and hints on how to find him and maybe the places were it showes them in the sphere has got somit to do with it.

Well, Seymour doesn’t have much to do with it all, him being dead and stuff. I don’t know what else to say. Do you want information on the role of certain characters, certain events, or just general information? o_o

well IIII think that Square-Enix just wanted to make a cheesy Final Fantasy game that catered to the horny men and teenage boys who like sexy video game characters (sort of like Charlies angels) and that they didn’t really try to hard to make a good storyline.

I understand the storyline perfectly and don’t get what everyone doesn’t understand about it. Like Misao said, a more specific question would be helpful.

Agent0042 is right, i got the storyline prefectly, its mainly about connections between everyone. i won’t spoil anything for anyone by saying a example.

Must have missed that. Am worried. Care to enlighten me? :erm: I mean, huh? What the… erh… hm?

If you get Episode Complete in Guadosalam, you can return to Guadosalam and access a house that had been sealed off before. There, you can get Baralai’s Sphere. When you take it back to the airship and watch it, you get a conversation that took place between Baralai and Seymour in the mansion in Guadosalam shortly before Yuna and company arrived there and Seymour made his big proposal to Yuna.

I think that the storyline is Yuna’s quest to find Tidus because she refuses to believe that he wasn’t real and is determined to find the answer to that first sphere. Simple as that.

I guess your right about the storyline, its not the best storyline in the final fantasy seris, and it could be a bit longer, but it is a great game.

Too bad I killed my save file… 🙁 No Seymour for Anna.

I think that’s a gross oversimplification of the storyline from somebody who probably hasn’t played through to get 100% completion. And if you have, I don’t see how you can think that. It isn’t just Yuna’s story.

True, it’s also about Paines side 2 years ago with Nooj, Gippal and baralai, is an important part.

And while in the subject of those three, who thought that the scene in bevelle undergroud, limbo in chapter 3 was good and it helped me understand, whats happening at the end

completed ffx-2 today and its not as bad as i thought it would be……bit short tho….u shouldn’t be able to complete any ff game in 20 hours…oh yeah, and thanks agent0042 for ruining part of the story for me, im sure that will help me on my quest to 100% completion!!! 😡

You are both beginning to really bore me to be honest. Okay, so it wasn’t a "proper" FF game. The storyline was total crap, there was no plot except Yuna trying to find Tidus and I spoiled the game for you, even though spoilers are clearly marked. Happy now?

But I am not quite certain how often I’ve heard someone say this "Final Fantasy <insert-latin-number-except-7-here> isn’t a proper Final Fantasy game!!1" and I am not really willing to participate in any more stupid debates about what exactly makes a FF game, because honestly, I do not know. 🙁
