Does anyone else have this problem??

When ever i start a ff game i get to like the last bit but the get interested in another final fantasy adn do the same to that one, atm i have a game of ff8 started, on the last disc in ff7 and on the last disc of ff9 and i just completed ff2 and im halfway through ff5. Now i really want to start a game of 10 but cant be stuffed finishing any of the other games.

Yes – in fact, I never finished FF7 until after FF8 was released. I’ve never finished FF8 or 9 – i’ve gone so far in both of them, and just never saw it through.

FF10 and Kingdom Hearts I both played through to the end.

It’s happening again, though – I’ve stopped my game of FF10-2 to play Star Fox Adventures. Woe.

I have 7 through X-2 and have played them all, but the only one that i’ve gotten to the end with is FFX, never finished disc 1 on VII, got to 2nd or 3rd disc on VIII, 2nd on IX, chapter 5 on X-2 when i restarted the game to shoot for 100 percent and now i’m on chapter 2. I’m back with 7 now and hoping i can finish that one before i want to move on to anouther.

I started vii about three months ago and still haven’t finished.
IX i’ve played the longest and not done yet. X is the oly game I’ve played all the way through. Speaking of Kingdom why can’t Kingom have its own forum? Its still squarenix.

I started playing FFVII from my brother when I was about 8 or 9 but I just played his saved games cause I didn’t want to go through the WHOLE thing(but I haev now beat the whole thing). On 8, I got to Lunatic Pandora and couldn’t beat it so I started over and still haven’t beat it. On 9, I got to the beginning of Disc 4 but my disc 4 doesn’t work so I haven’t finished that one. ON X, I couldn’t beat Seymour on Mt. Gagazet (damn his lance of Atrophy) so I started on my bro’s game that was right after that part and beat it so the only one I have TRULY beat was 7.

To beat Seymuor you could poison him or was it his arm?

Never. I always do one part in FFVII, then save. Put in FFVIII, play, do one part, save. Blah blah you know the rest.

My friend, however, after 3 yrs, hasnt completed FF7 ,8, and 9 because he’s been juggling them.. doesnt seem to work..

Yes, this has happened to me, normally when real life distracts me.

For instance: Final Fantasy IV. I played this game solidly during my 2 week easter break last year (after owning the game for a year, but never mind this…) I got to the last dungeon, then got moved back to my Uni home and promptly lost interest in order to do project work and stuff. I did finish it, but like three weeks later.

And I enjoyed Final Fantasy IV as well.

Ditto with FFX-2. I got to the "choose a hole" bit, but now I’m there I’m not really motivated to go and do the last dungeon yet. I’ll get round to it one of these days.

It’s the same with other games other than Final Fantasy though. It can happen to me with Legaia 2, or Wild Arms 3, or anything… I guess I just don’t have the attention span I once did.
