how do you beat the machine in kilika in chapter 1

hey ive only just got my game on wednesday and im stuck on the bit in kilika were you have to beat the machine after entering the correct paswords to the gards on the steps.

its something called y5s67or somit like that i dont know but its driving me nuts and ive dried every thing but when i turn my weakest player in to the songstress there hp is only 300 somit or 200 somit.and its just not working.

im open to any help*i need it*.:D

YSLS-Zero was fairly easy for me, I’ve never lost to it anyways. One thing you may need to do is level your guys a bit. But try using a white mage while fighting the guy and a song stress to use Darkness dance.

You should definitely level up if your characters have that little HP and you’re up against that. Strong physical attacks are best against this one. I recommend Warrior or Gunner dresspheres. If you have any good items, you can toss them too.

but i tried them and ive lost 11 time with yuna as gunner hp=400 somit. and same with rikku as a fighter hp=400 somit
but pain as fighter hp=500 somit.

Like we said, you need to level a bit. I never had a problem with him but i did all the side quests instead of jumping immediatly towards the hotspots. Anyways, also like i suggested, a white mage may be useful, unless your guys are powerful enough that they just need a potion now and then.

he was easy for me and i had about the same amount of hp i killed him first time

all my characters are on level 8.

so if you all think i should level up raise your hand.

If you still can’t beat it using the strategies we gave you, then I’m afraid I’m going to raise my hand. At that level, it sounds like probably skipped most of the sidequest stuff and just did the Hotspots.

could i leve kilika and then come back or am i to far in to kilika.

You’re still trying to beat it?

You can’t leave. Once you kick off the Kilika section in Chapter 1, it’s a one-way ticket. Fight the enemies in the Kilika Woods area if you want to level up.

I’VE DONE IT!!. yess, i just leveld up from level 8 to 11. and just kept attacking him now i’m up to bevelle temple on chapter 2. will this take long to do this part.:cool:

Not if you did some of the other sections and not just the Hotspots. And/or if you use the special dresspheres to make things easier on yourself.

the robot is freakin easy jus have ur char at a strong attack dresssphere and if urr low lvl jus level up and then fight

ps when u get a sphere give it to youth leauge u get more percent completeing the game

i had no problem beatin it think it only taken me about 9 mins
