there’s some sort of show based on Orphen, the ps2 game, or maybe the game is based on the show… Eh, watever. I’ve seen it at block buster but i haven’t rented it. Though i plan to some time.

I also liked Doujima from Witch Hunter Robin, especially during the later episodes. And the smoking guy in later episodes as well… Forgotten his name. I’m not that great at remembering names of characters from animes.

And from Naruto, I like Kakashi, Jiraiya, Lee (after reading the last chapter of the manga, he is my all time favouritest manga character in the world), Temari and Hinata. <3 Temari and Hinata.

They’ve got Final Fantasy Manga!? Sweet!! I know they have Final Fantasy Unlimited Anime, that looks good!!

Yep. It continues where the anime TV series of FF Unlimited left off, as the show was canceled halfway through it’s story arc. However, it’s not available in English, and as far as I know there are no plans as of yet to release it in the US, yet.

Mind you, with AD Vision now releasing manga as well as anime I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if they picked it up as well to tie in with their release of the anime version.

Ya it’s a list. oh well 😛 I am a huge anime fan

My favorite character is probably Tochiro Ooyama.

I actually have so much anime here that I’ve had to co-locate it. And both locations are full to bursting again. I mostly buy region 0 imports these days, so I don’t spend as much, but I also get more. For example, I recently got the first season of Initial D (all 26 episodes) for the same price as ONE of the domestic Toyopop DVDs. It has better translated subs too.

Suncoast is a good source for people starting out. Lots of good stuff and the people there usually know what’s best, in my experience.

1. Chii: I’m a bit obsessed with her. Merl claims she reminds him of me- not sure how to take that.

2. Belldandy: I used to collect little Belldandy keychains and stickers all the time. I don’t so much anymore, but I still love both her and Ah! Megumi Sama

3. Vash: I’ve got a silly fangirl type crush on him. Maybe it’s cause he’s the world’s nicest badass, maybe it’s cause I like my men with a few scars. Who knows, highlander?

4. Xellgadis: I still remember watching the beginning on Slayers and being absolutely enraptured by his eyes. I was a bit shocked when I saw the true form of the character I’d developed a crush on at first, but he’s even sexier that way.

5. Minimay: I’m not sure if I’m a bigger fan of the love story or of her, but I like her bunches all the same.

Noteworthy things- I really, really adore Momo and Kiley, but couldn’t include them since there’s no Peach Girl anime.

Also, I’m extremely fond of Julia from Cowboy Bebop. I’m not sure why. They never get too indepth with her character.

Vash for me.

Crest/Banner of the stars is a really good show that’s easily worth checking out. Just beware the dubbed version. It’s awful, particularly in the first season, Crest of the Stars.

The rest were just too whiny for me.

I thought Asuka was a bitch though. If she’s going to act like a slut, she can’t be slapping guys around!

Rei never ever whined; whenever she was told what to do, she would do it without any questions asked. That is the complete opposite of whining.

Now Shinji lied because he did have some problems. I don’t know if you’ve seen enough of Evangelion to know, but you find out that all of the character have phsyciological problems and needed phsycology big time. I actually liked Shinji and thought he was cute! I really felt bad for him because of how his father treated him. Believe it or not, but that’s how people become whinners, is if there parents neglect the kids like that. If the child is neglected, than the kid grows up thinking life is terrible. That’s why I feel sorry for Shinji

As for Misato, she did good by forgeting about her past as much as possible, and she was as happy as she can be! That’s very strong!

So not all of the characters whined, but just some of them. You really have to see all of Evangeliong at least twice to understand.

Rei is a bit of an exception due the nature of the character’s origin, but I still find her personality more than a little creepy.

Anyone ever seen that? If you haven’t, you would be well advised to not admit it. It’s one of the few things I’ve seen that’s actually funnier than Dragon Half.

What I do is just go to a local video store, pick out something that looks interesting and I’ve never heard of, and buy it. I usually have good instincts about anime, so I seldom wind up buying crap. It’s how I found several favorites of mine like Berserk, Kare Kano, R.O.D., and Scryed.

My reasons for liking this character is that he’s good with guns (he’s the quickest gun on Planet Gunsmoke), strong, seeks justice, and is sensitive at the same time. He’s a kind person-er-plant. I’m a sensitive person, and I’m always drawn to a hero who can be kind as well as get the job of doing in the bad guys–even though he avoids killing them when he can. He’s also quite silly at times.

The Trigun anime series is short, but I think it’s pretty good.

But if I had to choose a more family friendly Anime character, it would have to be Brolly. (DBZ Movies/Games)

Anyway, my favorite anime character is Brandon Heat/Beyond the Grave from Gungrave.

My favorite manga character is probably the "Shin" Keitaro in Love Hina. You know, the uber-cool one that’s studying all hard and doesn’t do stupid stuff like normal Keitaro does (I was shocked when he dodged Su’s kick from the back of the head). They should have made an episode about that.

I watch others too, but mainly those cause they my favorite. Im not into that other anime people like to watch which bores me to death. Overall One Piece has the best storyline next to Dragonball Z.

As for me watching it cause its on cartoon network lol I only watch Japanese version of Naruto, but watch sub and dub for the rest.

If you want a truly good storyline in an anime, I would highly suggest something like Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, even the Tenchi series I found pretty good. I realize everyone’s got their own tastes in anime, but honestly One Piece and Dragonball Z are entry-level animes the likes of which FFMystic Quest was to the FF series :O

I like Spike because he’s a skilled fighter but modest and easy going at the same time. and…because he thinks that kicking things are usually the best way to fix them (ends up breaking it…without much remorse either~! ^__^)
