X-the movie

Why does everybody hate X 1999 the movie? I haven’t seen it, but the trailer looked so AWESOME. I have downloadet it from everything-anime.com, (well it is not trailer, but music video) and i really liked it. And when I saw reviews, votes and descriptions on meny sites, most of visitors have marked id as the worst! I dunno, but what do you think ’bout it?

I love X-the movie. I bought it a while back and it is really good – good plot, characters and settings. Also the fact that X-Japan sing ‘forever love’ at the end is one hell of a bonus!!!!!!!!!!:)

It was depressing. I haven’t seen/read any other X, though, so… I can’t comment much on it’s quality. I didn’t really get it.

i admit, it is confusing to understand but what i got was that there are the angels of heaven (who think by destroying the earth they will save it) and the angels of earth (who think by stopping the angels of heaven they will save the earth). The two friends (the names escape me at the mo) have known each all there lives and one is an angel of heaven and one is an angel of earth. In order to save the earth, it is there destiny to fight each other. I hope i got this right – i’ve only seen it once and it was at 3 in the morning, no da!!

as for my opinion on x i think it was a great movie wiv good characters and excellent story line but i think it just got 2 weird in parts (i hate anime when they do that eg akira near the end:( )

X was a great movie 😀 and tupac_method19 is right it gets confusing at parts of the movie…..:(

X the movie was really great. It was really a great battle between the dragons of earth and dragons of heaven. Although many of the cast members went bye-bye in not so good ways, the movie was still great and Kamui thought about his beloved childhood friends in the end. I got to admit, I went crying in tears knowing that it was tough on Kamui making that tough decision to battle Fuma and it didn’t even end up in a good way but in a sad way.

I am reading the X manga(have been for years) and I have seen the X movie and the anime series.
The movie is drawn really well. I love the animation. I also loved the ending theme by JRock group, X Japan:)
however the movie was too short to explain the complete story. so much was left out that you had to be a fan of the manga to know what is going on. This is one of reasons why the director of vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust created the anime series.

I haven’t heard anyone said that they hated it. I’ve only heard good things about it. Maybe I’m talking to all the wrong people.

I want to start reading the manga- the artwork is absolutely breathtaking.

I didn’t like the mangas art. I just remember a lot of really bad halftoning of photos for backdrops when I was flipping through an issue. =\

*shrug* To each his/her own. I love the manga. The artists, Clamp, are–in my opinion–the greatest. If Clamp never drew the manga there wouldn’t have been an anime movie or series.
