suggestions on most horrific anime?

i was at the store yesterday, and i wanted to buy an anime with a dark plot and a lot of blood. i heard ‘X’ was good, but i can’t seem to find the movie anywhere. do u have any other suggestions?

Ninja Scroll’s bloody enough. There’s also Devil-Man, or something like that.

I just rented the movies Tokyo Babylon. You cant read X if you wont read this ’cause I dont think you’ll understand alot of it know? I know X was before that but they explain a lot of thinks in Tokyo Babylon that they didn’t wrote in X (I think it’s X anyway)

There is an X Movie. It’s the same plot as the manga’s, but a bit different. Im not sure, it’s been years since i last saw it. There is now an X series out. You can find them at alot of movie type stores like FYE or Hastings. One more thing, since the main topic was about Horror type manga’s, id like to suggest one. Even though its not actually very "horror" like to me, ‘Pet Shop of Horror’s’ is a very good manga. D is really awsome. You might like it, but then again you may not. Just a suggestion. :p

Haven’t seen any decent horror anime, but check out the manga of Junji Ito. Uzumaki, Tomie, as well as a collection of short stories. Great stuff.

i cant remmber the name but its REALLY bloody i mean you cant watch it without blood somewhere ill look around my warehouse ill pm you if i find it

If you know where there is a FYE store by you, then they should have X, but another good anime with a lot of blood Kite, but not really sure.

Hellsing can be pretty nasty. Devil Man is just gore fest, as is X. I’m tempted to say Ichi the Killer, but it really isn’t that good.

Ninja Scroll is pretty dire, though. X isn’t really bloody, just depressing.

You should probably go for Ninja Scroll.

Samurai X -trust and betrayal is pretty gory.there’s one samurai(kenshin) who is tha main guy and he is realy good with his sword.He slicin’ open people left and right and he doesn’t even flich.Its got a pretty good story too.

blood the last vampire is very violent. name kinda’ speaks for itself
neon genesis evangelion-end of evangelion is pretty dark and violent at times.

Yes, there is Ninja Scroll and Ninja Resurection. There’s also Akira.. well.. it has gorish qualities at times, but that could have just been the sleepiness talking when I watched it.
