There is a way of reviving Aeris. Before fighting with Emerald swim 3 times around him without starting a fight. The circles have to be perfect otherwise the fight will begin. Watch out , he’s fast..
With a little practice you’ll be able to do it. If you succed you’ll recieve a white materia. Then go to the forgotten capital by the lake and materia will start to glow.And Aeris will rise above the water. There are 2 more ways of reviving Aeris.

2. in the animation where Sephiroth stabs her with masamune blade open the Play Station and rotate the cd manually 4 times in the opposite direction. Then press start,select,select,start.Then he will miss her.
