I know the spelling is not the same, but could some of the fans who know the background story of the anime series tell me if this: http://www.vanhelsing.net/index.html?__source=UPMN is a movie based on the anime???
It would be funny it if was. I have watched a little of hellsing, but I do not know the whole backstory.

no not really. its gonna be based on the book/s.
hellsing gets a few things here and there from the books but is totally diffrent. this movie is gonna be based on the original stuff. looks pretty cool. looks like it was inspired by the recent dark movies that came out like underworld, the leauge, and some other vamp movie. looks like fun. i’d watch it. vamps are cool
so i’d say..no.
