I got the "Sad Ending" was wondering if anyone knows the 5 steps to get the good/happy ending? I read a list and had done all of those but I still got the "Sad Ending". I’m not talking about the perfect ending either just to clear things up =D.
***SPOILERS***
The Sad Ending is of course where Tidus apparates behind Yuna in the farplane glenn instead of the fayth and she tells him he’ll always have a place in her heart and that she loves him (i.e. Tidus is NOT revived as in the good/happy ending.
***END SPOILERS***
Any info is appreciated I really want to see the "Good Ending" before I run through the entire game again to beat Shinra for the "Perfect Ending"
***********************************
SPOILER
***********************************
When Yuna is standing in the farplane, and the fayth dude or whatever asks if there is anyone else you’d like to see… press x multiple times to make her hear a whistle (similiar to when u were in Bevelle in Chapter 2)
This will get the good ending.
Perfect ending:
100% completion plus the task above gives you a extra sequence for the "good ending"
Don’t know how to get the other endings though…
Worse: Complete Game without doing Tidus Event/100%
Good: Complete the game with Tidus Event but less than 100%
Perfect: Complete the game with both Tidus Event and 100%
I dunno about the other Endings though. 🙁
i never saw tidus, and i cant recall the fayth saying anything to me about wanting to see anyone. shit. i suck.
instead of making some threads or checking for a proper place to ask these, ill do so here:
-i got a 53% completion. thats like an "F" right? i failed the game. is this a really bad percentage?
-can you play through the game as much as you want in the special replay mode? like everytime you beat the game again, you can replay it again and again, or just once more?
what kind of ending is that? it was so sad! i really was hoping she would see Tidus or something, what can i do to get the other endings? guys please help!
Good Ending:
The Good Ending has nothing to do with % completion. In order to get the good ending, you must meet the following requirements:
– In Chapter 3, you need to visit Leblanc’s mansion and agree to go down to the dungeon with Ormi and Logos for a "private viewing session" of some spheres that they recorded in Bevelle. (This is when they were at that huge Gaol machine over in Bevelle, so just be certain, don’t skip scenes there.) Once you’ve finished the viewing session, Maechen shows up. When you get a chance, have Yuna talk with him for some more scenes. You’ll know you’re done if you get something where Paine tells Maechen to watch what he says and he says to forgive it as the ramblings of an old man.
– At the end of Chapter 3, when Yuna is on the Farplane, once Nooj, Baralai and Gippal have left, she will be all alone. At this point, mash "X" like crazy in order to activate a whistling event. You should hear whistling four times and then Yuna will be led out of the Farplane.
– In Chapter 5, find a moogle in the area where Tidus and Yuna were standing in the original Final Fantasy X laughing like crazy. (Tidus: "Ah ha ha ha ha ha!" Yuna: "You… probably shouldn’t laugh anymore.") Complete the "Follow the Moogle" mission.
– Also in Chapter 5, complete the "active link" in Besaid. I don’t think you have to get an Episode Complete, but you do need to end the sequence by getting a scene with Wakka holding a meeting at the campfire.
– If you’ve completed the above requirements, then in the ending, after "Chapter 5 Complete," Yuna will be on the Farplane Glen. Start mashing "X" until the Fayth shows up. When the Fayth asks a question, choose the first option: "Yes."
– That’s the requirements. Once the closing credits sequence has rolled, keep watching for the good ending.
Perfect Ending:
Within a single game, complete the above requirements. Then, also have 100% completion, either attained from that file or from multiple playthroughs. Following the Good Ending, you will get an additional scene.
– Get 100% completion from either one or multiple playthroughs. If you get 90% completion on your first playthrough and then give the sphere to the different group on the second playtrhough, you can get up to 10% additional completion, but that’s cutting it close, so you might want to do one or two other things you didn’t before just to make sure.
– Within the one game that you are trying to get the Perfect Ending, complete the requirements for a Good Ending that I posted earlier in this thread. Oh, and also, I just recently found this out, you should also get Episode Complete in Besaid.
