U.S. Release Date

So when exactly is the U.S. release? The main FFShrine site says that it’s going to be out this Tuesday on the 18th, but Amazon says that they aren’t going to have it until the 21st. Is 18th the day it comes out in stores? Whatever it is, it’s getting really close now! I’m hyped for this game.

Gamefaqs says thew 18th as well. Gamefaqs is the king, we trust gamefaqs 😉

Square says (on www.squaresoft.com) that it’ll be out on November 18. You don’t have to trust gamefaqs, trust Square. Don’t trust Amazon.

Oh, and do trust the Shrine.

Argh! Looks like I’m not going to be getting it today. Both of the two places I was going to try say they don’t have it yet. I don’t know what’s going on. Amazon now says it’s available today. ::: sigh ::: Oh well, not too big a deal to wait a bit, I guess.

It usually comes in in Cali, and takes a few days to spread across the U.S., at least that’s what happened with FFIX (which I was so eager to buy..) It should reach your part of the U.S. within the next few days… (it gets here either later-today or tomorrow XD)

Oh, okay! Interesting. I’ll just hold tight then. In the meantime, I’m replaying Final Fantasy X anyway and I have other things to keep me busy, so I guess I can wait.

I’m still waiting… 🙁

Never buy through amazon, the game will prolly reach stores near you before amazon can ship it to you O_O, not to mention you have to pay shipping charges…

And anyway, I’m broke as hell (which means I gotta wait until christmas), so you guys who can afford to buy it, have fun you lucky bastards, lol O_o

Get the Jap version then =P
It’s much cheaper than the US version and who knows there might be some stuff the US version censored and edited which makes it not as fun as the Jap version ^_~

And oh yeah not to mention jap version has waaaaaaaaaaaay better voice acting. ALWAYS

I love Amazon, order everything through it. Yes, it has already reached stores near me, but the thing is… i don’t care… I don’t NEED to have it on the first day of release, hell I could wait a couple of months, no problem. The product is cheaper on Amazon than it is in stores here also, and if I order the game, and maybe a book or two, I get free shipping. So actually I am saving money doing it this way. Plus I never have to go out to the store and have to push my through all the little kids playing their shitty Pokemon or Yugiyo games.

AdemA, I totally feel you on that.

Haru – you can’t play Japanese versions of games in the U.S. unless you "chip" your console or whatever and not only is it illegal (I think), but it’s also complicated and troublesome.
