I am planning on getting FFXI as soon as it comes out. I would like to form a ffshrine party to play together regularly. Just curious to see how many people are getting the game and who would be interested in playing with the same party on a regular bases.

I’m proposing a way to get as many FFShrine members to a server. Check the main page for details.

Now if only I can get that Radeon 9800 Pro. ;_;

I don’t see the fuss, I’m running fine with a GeForce 2 o_o

I’m playing, though I doubt anyone here knows me. I’m stuck on Seraph server myself

I am forming a Final Fantasy Shrine group on the Bahamut server. I already have a world pass, and am looking for 5 members of the shrine to join me. If you are interested please send me a PM.

I would be interested. My PC certainly is capable of playing FFXII, however, there is the somewhat crippling 56k-effect. But that won’t be a problem by the time we get it in Europe, since I’ll have broadband, and probably another PC by then.

Wey hey. The only problem is, I won’t be able to play til it’s released here. 🙁 But when the time comes… 😉

Ja Ne.

From what I have heard, the game isn’t so bad with 56k… but downloading the updates takes FOREVER… i’m talking a day or so on the first update.

The updates happen about once or twice a month, and they aren’t near as big as the first one.

well i my computer is capable of playing it, and i have a geforce 4… but it’s not that good… i don’t get to use all the nice extra video features and stuff, but hey it’s not too bad hehe

Duo, you could import, i have been playing with a lot of europe friends who have all done that *shrug*

I’m thinking of buying it off a friend. It’s imported, he hates it, and is willing to sell it to me for half price. Hopefully it will run quite well with my 56K modem? Connecting to a server, in Japan, with around 3,000 – 5,000 other people on it. Hmmm.

Typo ish on 56k and experiences very smooth gameplay. It’s extrodinary. Cerberus has 3-3.5k players online at one time on an average day.
