Hopes and Wishes for FFXI

What kind of things would you hope to see in FFXI and following expansions?

I would love to see chocobo racing, that would be so fun to race people online and breed and trade and place bets. They could do so much with it, i would buy a seperate game just for racing.

Another thing that would be cool to see is blitzball online. Think about trading players, training players, and having tournaments and league games. Would be so great.

I saw something in a FFXI preview that looked similar to chocobo racing but I’m not expecting it. Blitzball probably wont ever end up in the game either… but its fun to dream.

Actually there are chocobo races… but they are manually organized, usually by a person who is well known on that server. There was this one guy who did it in the beta and they even had the GMs there joining for the race. :O

Now blitzball… thats a bit odd for this type of world… and not a lot of people ilke blitzball. XD

Actual in-game sanctioned Chocobo races could be intersting. Mini-games ala FFVII would be fun, added from new shops that show up when the major areas gain such and such conquest points. I’d like to say maybe a new race, but the current races are balanced as is, so mayhaps not…
