Garnet (SPOILERS!)

Throughtout the game, we have Garnet with a nice long ponytail. But then at Disk 3, she cuts her hair!!! So which style do you like better: long hair or short hair?

I like the Short Hair. Not only does Garnet look better with shorter hair, but it also shows a new side to her. Before Disk 3, she was like this concieded royal rich snobbish person. But when she cut her hair, it’s like she turned into a different person, a different person whom I liked better than the old. So what do you think?

I think she looks gorgeous no matter how long her hair is, although I admit I am partial to her with long hair. It softens her features and compliments those deep sexy eyes. Even though when she cuts her hair short it gives better opportunities for ‘fan-service’… I perfer her with long hair.

And you’ve mentioned some good points about her personality too Vivi FF, although personally, I thought she was only snobbish right at the start of the game. Once the Prima Vista crashed into Evil Forest it shook her up a bit and frightend her into being more humane. And when she started seeing the hardships that her subjects endured on a daily basis once the party reached Dali, along with the horrors that her mother was inflicting upon the world, it blew off her rose-tinted glasses and made her a far more stronger, more humble person.

In case you couldn’t tell I’m a huge Garnet fanboy, and to make matters worse, my girlfriend looks a lot like her too… ooo ooooo…

Oh, definitely short hair. She becomes so much cuter when she cuts the hair. Although both Eiko and Beatrix are still cooler.

I liked the long hair look myself, but that’s probably just because I’m not a big fan of short hair.

If anyone remembers, Enkidoh opened a Garnet club here and I was the only member..and my first name when I joined here was "Garnet’s Lover". Cookie to anyone who remembers that.

And I must say Enk, lucky you to havea g/f who looks like Dagger..lucky you man…:p

As for the topic itself, either way works…personally, I like the longer hair better. Yeah, her personality was better with short hair, but even still..eh…she wasn’t that bad…was she? x_x Oh well, she’s cute either way but I’d prefer the longer hair

It’s always Garnet, no matter what her hair looks like… I liked the change when she cut her hair. It was new and refreshing.
However… Kurohime’s link confuses me… o_o Awesome picture…

i think she looked a lot better with her long hair. her status pick made her look sick when she had short hair.

it was a good transaction though, for her to cut her hair off. and using the dagger was cool too, since the dagger helped her grow into a new person earlier in the game.

I personally like it long myself.

However, the cutting of hair in Japanese culture is represenative of a new beginning.

Thats what I particularly liked about this Final Fantasy to be honest. The characterization was more in depth and had far more focuses on ideas of humanity.

She looks pretty whatever length her hair is. But, I prefered it short. Not many main FF female characters have hair shorter than above their shoulders, and it’s a beautiful part of the game. It ties in with everything else that happens at the same time, she can speak again and they get the Hilde Garde 3.
It’s a really uplifting part of the game, and it’s just like "Yeah! Let’s go get Kuja!"

Although, the short hair looks kinda weird in Garnet’s field and battle character. It looks alot better in her menu picture, or in FMV. The long hair looked good all the time.

I like Garnet’s long hair becuase it resembles Tifa! Her short hair resembles Aki Ross.

I prefer her with short hair, I personally believe that she looks much more mature with short hair, and that quality made me like her more. Also, after she had her hair cut, you may notice the way she holds herself, and walks, etc… is much more common, a turnaround from her princess self.

I think Garnet has more of Aki Ross’s hair when its short than Rinoa’s. Garnet looks like Sailor Saturn with it in the cinamatic scenes.

I liked her with long hair better.In the field and in battle, it looks really bad with short hair…..Personally, I don’t like short hair.

I also liked her better with long hair, but I still thought she looked cute with short hair.

The short and the long hair looks good on her, because she�s a pretty girl.
