Are you gonna get it?

Are you going to get Final Fantasy X-2? If so when do you suppose you’ll get it? (It comes out sometime in November.) If you have the import version, are you going to get the US/PAL versions? And if you’re not gonna get it, tell why. Just checking… 🙂

I’m going to get FFX-2. I dunno when. I think anywhere between when it comes out to Christmas because I think I’ll have no money when it comes out thanks to SSX3. 🙂

as soon as it comes out in the UK i will get it, i have to, i need it, i want it!!!! grrr why isnt it out now

well it got pushed to december 4th in north america now. but i’ll just import the JAP version instead, so much more stuff and it’ll be out around the same time… probly ask for it for christmas so i dont have to spend my money 😉

Hmm, whats wrong with an all girl cast? Especially when they’re in such revealing clothing ;), plus, its got my favorite characters… or almost

I have seen screenshots and information on the web and magazines. I really am not compeled to this game like I was to FFX. I liked FFX more. I wont rush out and buy the new Final Fantasy because FFX was so good. I will rent it first.

Of course I’m going to get it. I’ll complain about how bad it looks, and then I’ll hate it after I finish it, but yeah, I’m getting it. 😀 Besides… it has… *sigh* … Rikku in it.

I plan on getting it, mostly because I liked FFX so much not because I’ve seen anything that really makes this one special, but I do hope that it is great.

The game has a different….flow then the other games. Changing clothes (I love to do by the way), a job system, which I love, and the main character is a girl, and an A-List PopStar.

im am going to get it no matter what, FFX in my view was good, I can’t wait to see what has changed.

In the short answer to what has changed… everything except the character’s names and their voices.

I really have to get it I don’t have a choice unless I wanna lose my reputation a being a person that has played and beaten every ff out there well at least in the usa and Canada which is the same thing basically.

So they got the original voice actors to come back onboard for the sequal? Excellent, that’ll add to immersion at least =D The more I read about the game though the better it seems like it will be, just hate that they pushed it back a month.

With EA picking up the publishing rights to the game, we’re looking at a release in the PAL regions "early in 2004" to quote something I read somewhere.

Yeah, I’m going to try to go ahead and get it the first day it comes out. I’m guessing it should probably be in all the local stores that usually carry Playstation 2 games, so no worries.

Its said that in terms of originality and gampelay, it far exceeds the original. That and its a very big game as well, where I felt FFX was a bit small especially in comparsion to the other ones for some reason.

One reason I think for Final Fantasy X’s feeling of "smallness" is it being on one DVD. With the other games you had the whole business of changing discs, but with Final Fantasy X, I think there’s a bit of a different feel because you lose that element. Also, the extreme linearity of Final Fantasy X’s story I think gives it a "smaller’ feel.
