The brothers Figaro

Anyone wanna tell me who their favorite Figaro brother is? Would u prefer a charming long haired man like Edgar? Or a buff outgoing one, like Sabin? I cant pick! theyre both good kewl! I like Edgar cause i like his gun thing and Sabins blitz rock, even though they dont work half the time! @_@ anyways who would u guys pick? Edgar or Sabin? POST! POST! POST!

Edgar cuz he has teh tools.

Sabin, of course! Bum Rush the crap out of my enemies, though my fingers hurt after awhile.

I always liked Edgar more than Sabin. Let�s see… why…?
Okay, his playboy attitide, combined with the serious role he played for Figaro castle… This gives him a complex personality right from the start.
I like him more in battle… It was mentioned before: The tools, yay~ I really loved using them.

Oh, and he wears proper clothes, unlike Sabin. 😉

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">I liked them both. I would say Edgar was better because of the Chainsaw, but he kept trying to do instant death on bosses which got very annoying. I was only about halfway through the game, but I’d say that Sabn was the better charcater overall in battle. And I preferred him as a character too.

Edgar, without a doubt. His constant failed ‘pick-ups’ were hilarious, his abilites were awesome (Chainsaw anyone?), and his outfit was cool too (I like trenchcoats).

No offence to Sabin fans, but, I just couldn’t grasp the concept of Sabin being the heir to the Figaro throne. To quote Terra: "Prince? I thought he was some body-builder who’d strayed from his gym!"

And besides, his ‘Blitz’ atttacks were frustratingly difficult to pull off. An ‘auto’ function would have made it a lot easier (like they later used for Zell’s similar attacks in FFVIII). Sorry, but I perfer ‘King Ed’ myself.

His blitz attacks, difficult to pull off ??? Heh…you probably haven’t been playing many fighthing games like Street Fighter, otherwise you wouldn’t call them hard. Plus there are shortcuts to activate them. For example, instead of doing a ful circle starting left for Bum Rush simply do left left up up right right down down left

I didn’t dislike Edgar, but I preferred Sabin’s blitz over Edgar’s tools…goddamned clock tower to get the chainsaw… I didn’t have Internet at the time so I had to go with trial and error…damn was it long I swore I’d never forget….6 HOURS 10 MINS 50 SECS…

or was it 6 hours 50 mins 10 secs ? lol Nah, I think it was 10 mins 50 secs…

But anyway, who cares about the Figaro brothers when you have Locke ? 🙂

Edgar, obviously. Sabin was kind of a meat-head. o_O;

I liked Edgar more. He seemed to shape the story more. Ya know, he played a more important role. Obviously the tools were better than the Blitzes.

The Figaro brothers were both great and I used them a lot in battle, although my favorite character from that game was Cyan. I’d have to give Edgar the nod, I just liked him better and I also liked his tools like the Chainsaw.

I really liked Sabin. He was so buff. Plus those blitzes were good to use in battle.

I’m going for Edgar just because he was veru useful in battle, but as for Sabin I found his blitz technique too confusing.

i like sabin better, too. how could i have lived without the blitz? and he was such a snazzy dresser: who else wears purple shirts with green shoes? hmm…maybe he was a "body-builder"….

edgar all the way because he has a more easyflowing attitude than sabin(maybe because the lack of training)

Firstly, I like the blitzs a lot more.
Think about it, sure, Edgars tools are nifty and all, but how much good is the chainsaw/air anchor compared to the bumrush when you’re fighting Kefka. The chainsaw became really irksome once I got into a boss battle and edgar tried intadeath the main boss.
Plus, although I like Edgar, I think that I can relate better to Sabin. Plus, when I hear the name Edgar I think of the bug guy from Men In Black. 0_o that just doesn’t make me want to use the character as much. I named him Lance.
S’yeah, sabin all t3h way.

I like them both. Even they could work together through Tools and Blitz.

Yeah, I’m the type of girl who couldn’t resist an Edgar. And the chainsaw doesn’t hurt things.

Edgar. He is the king, has cooler abilities (tools), and….he is just better!
