FFT – Excalibur vs. Save the Queen

Which sword do you prefer? Most people would flat out say Excalibur, as it’s stronger, and casts haste, but really, that’s not much, unless it’s in the hands of T.G. Cid O_o, then he’s a powerhouse…

But really, for any other character besides Orlandu, I prefer Save the Queen, sure they won’t have haste, and it’s weaker, but it’s automatic protect, so that they can actually go in there, deal some blows, and not have to worry about getting wasted my counter-attacks or other physical attacks…

The both have there pros and cons. I would still go with the Excalibur because of haste.

Personally, I perefer Excalibur, due to it’s sheer brute strength, Holy element and permanent Haste, but then, why not equip both? The Ninja’s two Swords ability on a Knight or someone who can wield Knight Swords, the good ‘old ‘Item duplication’ trick – Excalibur in one hand, Save the Queen in the other. Equals,…. one powerhouse you don’t want to mess around with!!!!

I prefer the Chaos Blades from the deep dungeon but if I had to pick from those weapons i would go with the excaliber because of haste

Excalibur, easily.

When you can hit that hard and move around that quickly, you don’t need some dumb Auto-Protect to keep you alive.
