i think that im f***in mad at Sony for trying to make a pocket playstation. leave nintendo alone, they have already stopped making consoles so they could make profit by the handheld industry. F*** you Sony!!!!!!!!!

Nintendo haven’t stopped making consoles, they’ve confirmed they are goin to be making a next-gen console..

Any way on topic, it sounds all very good, i’ll probably buy one depending on the price though.;) Should be good all the PS hits on portable and then theres the stuff about Mp3…….should be a rather sweet machine.;)

Yeah, the shot does look a little fake, but until Sony either confirms or denies the project, then we can just wait and see…

Same as the PS3, really. The fact that there’s talk of it being released before the end of the year does smell a little fishy. We can just wait and see what the Sony comes up with.

I don’t think a hand-held to rival the Gameboy is a BAD thing necessarily either. The Gameboy is the established king of hand-held consoles, in its many incarnations. Something else to offer a breath of fresh air and a challenge to it might push Nintendo to keep the quality up and to hold onto their market share. Things that establish a monopoly tend to get stale fast.

Actually, I’m afraid to say that you’re the one that’s wrong. According to Press Confrences, a new Nintendo console will be released around 2005.

we will see. what you speak of could of course be another gameboy. whatever nintendo decides i will agree with. maybe they will find someway to mix the power of the gamecube with the poratability of the gameboy. who knows? but IGN stated that Nintendo announced that in 2004 they will stop production of their main console and put all resources into the gameboy.
IGN is quite a reliable source of information, never let me down.
