ubnderground water maze near the end of disk one

alright i know i’m proabbly a newb for asking this but in that maze when your supposed to find the switch and next irvine misses the shot blah blah blah you know the story. where is the switch i looked all over the place i used a walkthrough got to the second ladder to fall down and climbed the ladder to level one. BUT it leads to the stairway i cam down where is the switch please help me!

I hate that maze. Unfortunately, based on your description, I’m not really sure where you are. I think, however, I might have an idea. If you’re back in that first area, try heading towards the right. If you’re at the point I think you are, then there should be a new area to go to towards the right and up.

is this the maze where Squall and irvine arnt in the team and your the others and you have to push down the ladders etc, well i think you have to always go left

Yeah, I’m 100% certain that’s the maze that’s being talked about. And I think you’re right, for the most part, you do need to go left, but there’s one point, when you get back to the area that has the ladder leading up to Caraway’s house and I think at that point you actually have to go right.
