5 New anime character drawings from Enma

Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho

Koenma (teen) from Yu Yu Hakusho (this one absolutely sucks..)

Ranma from Ranma 1/2

Alucard from Hellsing

Comments…criticism…?

All very good ^_^ I like them all, but the shoulders of the gril in the first picture are too square and her jaw is a little bit funny. The Second is very good, as are the clothes in the third, although his face needs a lil work. The other ones are fine .Good work and keep it up ^_^

Sasami . love the anime hair and her pose is reaslly cute … her face needs a little tone, it’s a bit flat

Hiei . great pose, the image has a real feeling of movement and action … the black and white tones add to the atmosphere, my only crit being the arm looks a little on the long side

Koenma . I disagree that it sucks ! you’ve drawn from a really tricky angle and managed to get the profile looking great, i’d say the ear’s a bit too far round the back of the head … the shading on the cloth crumples is effective and maybe you need some shading near the ear to define the jaw

Ranma . another great head of hair, I love the shiny quality you give to the hair you draw ! his face is generally good, nice expression although the left eye is a little awkward, some tonal work on his clothes would really help lift the image

Alucard OMG ARUCARD XD~~~~~ … [/fangirl] arucard’s the only one i actually recognise not being a big on anime … it’s really captured his moody demeanor and you’ve blended the red and black really well … it looks like pastel ? … can’t think of any crits for this one XD!

Thank you both Alielle and Ed for the feedback. I kind of did these in a rush as they were assignments for a school project and I was kind of limited in terms of time…x.x; So yes, I realize quite a few cons (particularly Koenma’s face). Thanks again you two!

And by the way Alielle, on Alucard/Arucard (Japanese with their R’s for L’s XD), I actually didn’t use pastel..o.o…Just a lot of pencils…xD

Amazing work Koenma…You’ve come along way in your drawings…The last one’s i’ve seen were 10 mins sketchs of game chars like sonic and mario.

Hiei and Arucard really stand out IMO. You chose great poses for these two.

The other were all great too…The first one was awesome too but needed a little work.

What did you use for colors? It looks like crayons and pencil on some sketch paper…I really dig the rough look.

nice job koenma they’re all pretty good just one tip though on the ranma one, his neck is kinda thick, you might want to make it thinner by making his chin stick out more or actualy making the neck thiner and if you shade under the chin it makes it look like there is some depth between the adam’s apple and the end of the chin. Over all, nice job.;)

They all look very good, but in particular, Ramna looks really good, IMHO.

Alucard looks a lil’ too dark, maybe.

I’m not sure quite what it is, but Sasami looks like she’s in 2d o.O
