Worst SNES game ever

What would you say is the worst game ever? Me, I’d have to say…Captain Novolin. A game about a superhero who fights diabetes? Its a very bad game…

Either:

Jetson’s : Invasion of the Planet Pirates

or

Mario’s Time Machine/Mario’s Missing (they’re different games but fit in the same category)

All of those were god-awfully horrible….thus proven you cannot turn games into History Lessons and make them fun…you just can’t..

I’d have to say a game named Captian Novalin takes the cake…God awful games that leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Home Alone 2, worst. game. ever!

Mario is missing was SO lame. I rented it once when I was like 12 year olds and I finished it in 2 hours x.x

Mario is Missing and Home Alone 2 were just pathetic. Those games should never ever been released.

I haven’t had much extensive knowledge of playing SNES games, getting the console quite late in its life and only wanting the obvious classic games (Super Mario World, Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario Kart, Streetfighter 2, etc, etc, etc.)

But one game stands out as mediocre, even dire, and that was Bart Simpson’s Nightmare. The game where you had to get his homework back. I only borrowed it off a mate, and I’m still surprised that I returned the cartridge to him in one piece. It was so tempting to hit it with a sledgehammer.

I don’t remember if Mario is Missing made it to the UK. It was probably beneficial for my SNES that it didn’t…

I very vaguely remember having read an article about Mario is missing in some Nintendo mag. Since this mag only covers games released in Germany (I believe the game was called "Mario wird vermisst"), I do suppose it was released in Germany, aka, in Europe, which means, also in the UK…

I think the worst snes game I have ever played would be the Secret Of Evermore… that had to be the most evil game I had ever played.

STFU, SoE was a great game. Just cuz you wanted another Secret of Mana. Dumb n00b.

I think it was Wario 2 or 3 or maybe even Wario’s World.

Anna: My bad over Mario is Missing. I couldn’t remember if it were the NES or the SNES version that was released over here, until I realised that they probably just released both… Suffice to say, I am intrigued to finding a copy just to see how bad it is now. Might help me kill half an hour or something.

For me I would have to say Sim Earth….. I can’t believe I bought that thing…… ugh

Worst SNES game. Well, I’ve played quite a few of them, and most of them were quite good. Some, well, made me sick. Really sick.

I agree with Kenji and Khyros. Captain Novolin was pretty damn bad. I didn’t like Secret of Evermore either. I mean, we in Australia had a choice of either that or FFVI. Guess what we got. Secret of Evermore. Sim Earth got on my nerves as well. The only format for any Sim game is on PC not console.

But the one game which really annoyed me, was Robocop versus Terminator. It was bad. Real bad. There were some others, but they elude me for the moment.

Anyway, SoE wasn’t great, but the main problem was those horrid mazes that it had in spades. It was really a fun game, but after a while, running through all those areas (which all looked the same) got, well, boring.

Bart’s Nightmare sucked too… I’m not sure what I’d classify my most hated game, though. I really loathed FF:MQ, but that’s another story… I’ll go with Bart’s Nightmare, though.

I dont play bad games but the worst of what I played is FF:MQ. Horrid!

Phalanx takes the cake. That game was god awful. I wasn’t too crazy about Earth’s Defense Force either…

well for me the worst game was , hmmm …. hokuto no ken 5 , omg what a f*** rpg strange it is ^^ , no sense like hokuto no ken 6 and 7 (i know hnk 6,7 are fighting style ) , well is too hard the comands and the battles , and dun have a english version omg T_T
