Dancing Mad or One Winged Angel?

Final Fantasy VI and VII have brilliant theme music to the final enemy.

For Kefka it is Dancing Mad.
For Sephiroth it is One Winged Angel.

Which is better, I ask?

I’ve gotta say one winged angel, its kinda hard not to considering how much more advanced the sound processor was in the PS compared to the SNES.

I loved the Kefka last battle song, It was truly one of the best IMO. OWA is a fave too but Kefka’s gets my vote.

Although One-Winged Angel is a brillinat theme in it’s own right, FFVI’s Dancing Mad stole my vote. Absolutely brilliant – all four tiers and eighteen minutes of it!

From the tip of the hat to Celes’ theme Aria di Mezzo Carettere in the 1st tier, to the awesome percussion of the Imperial theme in the second, the slow organ solo of the third, and the insanity of the final tier,.. Kefka’s final battle, with the opening title theme giving way to an insane medley of grinding organ chords and percussion. This theme is just too awesome. One Winged Angel seems quaint by comparison.

And ironically, it’s a theme I’m actually listening to right now!

One Winged Angel all the way!! It sounded so gospel/god like and because Sephiroth was becoming a god…it fits so well, plus it sounded quite cool.

ONE WINGED ANGEL!!!!! i love that one to death… i’ve got it downloaded…… and i’m trying to find the other songs from ff7 (aeris’ theme especially) and i’m going to try to burn soundtracks for my fav ff’s. !!! 😎

Dancing Mad by far. I just liked it tonnes more. I’m one of those few people who can’t see any good about One Winged Angel, unless it’s compared to an obviously worser song.

One Winged Angel all the way! Kefkas tune is gd…..but IMHO i think sephis is the best peice of FF music ever written
