Has anyone seen this series? I read the article on it in Animerica. It sounds like it could be really good, but does it get too "preachy" on the environmental message? It seems like the kind of story that could be incredible if told right, but extremely easy to screw up.
Has the entire series been released in the US? How many episodes does/will it have?

I have not seen the series, though it is on my list of ones to see as it looks QUITE good. That and the music is done by Yoko Kanno. And I eat up anything done by her 😛
And there are 13 eps in the series. 4 DVD volumes. The 3rd one is being released tomorrow. Last one comes out April 8th

I downloaded the whole series and I absolutely love it. It has a girl heroine who is forced into becoming a sort of "magical girl" to protect earth but unlike your usual magical girl anime, it was many twists. In some parts, it is like SE Lain and Evangelion. 🙂
