If you happen to see it in a store , pick it up immediately(though you most likely won’t be able to find it). This thing is already selling for between $60-75 new (http://search-completed.ebay.com/search/search.dll?GetResult&SortProperty=MetaHighestPriceSort&query=suikoden+3&from=R10&ht=1&currdisp=2&combine=y&st=2)(though for less sometimes, its going up =\ ) on ebay and its only been around for several months. If you’re not interested in playing the game, buy it, sell it, and get something you want plus $20 extra. If you want the game, then you bloody better act fast~

Suikoden 2 is more expensive than 3, and 1 is the only one that still sells for a reasonable price.

Sell your complete squaresoft collection to fund the purchase of this fine series if you haven’t played any of them yet. 🙂

I’m still wondering as to whether Konami are planning to release the game in Europe (more specifically, for me, in the UK) at all. I already own Suikoden and Suikoden 2 (and it took me a heck of a long time to get my hands on the first one.) I love the series, it deals with more real issues than some other RPGs (war, and emotions involved in war, etc.)

Not owning a chipped PS2, I can’t import the game, so any information about a release date here would be appreciated.

hey, I don’t know any release dates for Europe. In fact, all I have in my head is a vague memory of hearing that Konami isn’t going to release the game out there at all. =\

Sucks I think, especially if they put out parts 1 and 2 there.

I’m at somewhere around 50 hours into it, and still haven’t finished it yet, thought I’ve taken a bit of a hiatus from the game for awhile as I’ve been fairly busy lately.

Wonderful, though I don’t see why you can’t buy it at some local store for cheaper or something. O_o Are the copies of it really that scarce?

yup. I checked 4 places while looking for a birthday present for me mom, and did not see it anywhere. Appears to be the same around the country from what I’m hearing from other people. Online stores have it listed as "out of stock" at all of the ones I checked(except for where I bought my copy).
Used copies could still pop up in stores(and should since its a recent release). . . people may luck out and see one of those. =\

Well, I don’t have to worry , I recieved as a gift for Christmas lol Didn’t even NEED to be bother paying for it ! 🙂 Ah…That makes me laugh. lol

I finished it in about 50 hours, got the 108 stars bonus and all. Was a lot of fun. But selling my WHOLE Square collection ? You crazy or something Rezo ??? :p lol Nah, I already know how you pledge your heart and sould to Suikoden so…

I actually saw a store selling Suikoden 3 and everyone was saying how good it was I wanted to buy it. However, I didnt get it because I havent played the first 2 and thought I would get lost so it would be a waste. However if I knew it was this hard to get it…I would have got it.

I played the first and second and I don’t think that the story had and real connection, atleast none that would make you want to play the first two to understand it. I really want it too, but there are so many other good games coming out soon and I only asked for anime this christmas and didn’t get it then…oh xenosaga, how I can’t wait to play you…:(

I have the first two Suikodens, with everything done in them. It took me ages to find them (when I did find them, I got them for $5 AUS each! Hmm, makes sense to have friends at a computer store, who OWE you favours BIG TIME!! BWA HA HA HA HA!!!!). I’ve heard a lot of information in regards to Konami not releasing Suikoden 3 here in PAL territories, because a lot of their RPG’s haven’t done really well. Suikoden 1 + 2, Vandal Hearts 1 + 2 and others only recieved some rather dismal ratings and reviews (Damn reviewers wouldn’t know a good game if it lept up and bit them in the face!!! GRRRRRR), and another factor was because of the cost and time involved in translation of the game into other languages. The usual crap companies dish out when they say they’re not gonna release a game.
