Really wierd !!!(help !)

I have 2 FF8 games:a copy and an original.

In both files bahamut is defeated(2 diffrent games)…BUT in the copy there is an savepoint and you can walk over the tree,but on my original game there isn’t a save point and the tree is different.

So it seems I can’t get Eden here !!!What is this ?

Is this the PC FF8? Because if so, it’s probably just some kind of error. Must’ve done something while you were copying the file or saving the original.

However, if this is the PSX version…then…wow, I really don’t have a theory.

Either way, this is odd and strange…

Maybe you have ‘hidden savepoint’ ability equipped on one of the games and in the other you dun have it equipped. And you shoud go in that thing to get Eden. You’ll find a safepoint down below either way, so no big worries.

That’s the problem,you can’t climb the tree and there is no savepoint in sight and in the copygame there is everything you discribe…

it’s the new original game that is fucking wierd,i really don’t understand…

do you have to have something for climbing the tree(because there is no tree branch) ?

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">I’m pretty sure it’s not a hidden save point at all, you just need to do something to make it appear. After you beat Bahamut, leave the facility and go back to the Ragnarok and talk to everyone on board. The save point should now be there, and you should also be able to climb down the tree into the facility. 🙂

I think Meltigemini is right. It’s been quirky like that in past games for me too. It won’t show up, I’ll talk to everyone and it still won’t show up and then eventually I can get it to show up. Try talking to everyone on the Ragnarok like Meltigemini, said, return and see if it shows up then.

I think Zell has to be in your team in order for it to appear. I know he’s not needed to pass that one scene in the boiler room place down below, but I used to hear alot of people saying that him being in your party activates the save point/tree/ladder.

The only other possible way could be thatit was a glitch that was transferred wrong and it ended up there, or it was Zell in your party. It depends on how you went about it too,like if you put hacks on the copied game so it would make it easier then before.
