Lupin

This is some new J.Anime show that has come on recently in Adult Swim… I don’t really like it. The style of the characters is really sucky, the legse and arms of the guys are to thin and the boobs of the girls are way too big :erm: This new anime reminds me of Inspector Gadget for some reason. What’s your opinion on this Anime if you’ve watched it?

Adult swim has been the talk of anime latley, I will try and catch it and vioce my opionion

I will have to watch it but the way you explain it makes it seem stupid.

Ah Lupin the 3rd.

I just watched the Lupin movie, The Castle of Cagliostro. It is an excellent movie (it rated A+ at Animejump.com). It was directed by none other than Hayao Miyazaki, known for great movies as Princess Mononoke and Spirited away.

I recommend watching that movie, if that doesn’t change your mind about Lupin, nothing will. It may be old, but it’s worthy of your time.

Do keep in mind though that Castle of Cagliostro (one of my all time fave movies) is probably the ‘least-Lupin’ of all the other Lupin animes, of which there are 3 TV series which amount to around 228 episodes, 7 theatrical movies, and 10 made-for-TV movies. And in most of these movies, Lupin is known to be quite hyper, steal-happy, and ass-grabby. And also keep in mind that the Lupin theyre showing on CN is from the first TV series which began airing in 1971! So obviously its going to look old/retro. Though it doesnt make it any less funny/enjoyable 😛 But if modern-looking-anime is all that matters to you, then ooooookaaaaaay.

Believe it or not, but Lupin III is actually the 2nd most popular anime of ALL TIME in Japan (2nd only to Doraemon, which has had new episodes airing on TV every week since 1973. And you thought The Simpsons had been on the air for a long time). While they don’t make the TV series anymore, every year they produce either a made-for-TV movie or a theatrical film, which always get huge ratings. They just can’t get enough of Lupin III.

I’ve only seen the above mentioned movie and thought it was great, so according to Atom’s thread I guess I don’t really know so much what a real Lupin Lupin Anime is like 🙂

Well i’ve only seen "the secret of mamo" moive (the first one) but i think Lupin the 3rd is great. He’s kinda like a crooked sherlock holmes. Also the characters are really funny.

You should sit down an watch it, it’s really awesome.Also, it’s possibly the obnly anime where Michelle Ruff doesn’t fucking suck shit to high heaven. Basically; Slut roles suit her. NOT FUCKING QUIET FLATCHESTED LOLIS!

i made a series of sigs because i liked it so much and i only do that with things i really like a LOT. :p

Lupin The 3rd is actually pretty good xD. I just watched recently "Lupin The 3rd : Missed By A Doller". That was epic.
