.hack//SIGN on Cartoon Network – Feb 1st

The cult anime hit .hack//SIGN will premiere on Cartoon Network starting Feb 1st. Just in time to coincide with the game release. Ha!

I hope the american audience gives this one a chance. It’s actually quite boring in the beginning. It’s one of those anime with really boring and slow start, but later picks up.

They’re also giving it a 3pm timeslot. o_O So it’s not for Adult Swim. Not that it requires a ton of censoring or whatever. Not an overly violent show. But it’s still not something that kids are going to be able to grasp too well. Hell I have a hard time following it sometimes. Not so sure about this…

Then again, It doesnt affect me much as I don’t watch any anime on CN 😛

Still, the feeling of envy grows. 😀 Whoa, .hack//SIGN… I want it, too… Okay, I should not complain…

Hmmm… I was way too fascinated to be bored by the first few episodes. The setting, the character design and the music, plus the story was absolutely entertaining. I also thing that there will be many younger or simply… dumber… (no offense!) people who won�t understand it, or like it, but who cares.

But 3 pm… is too early. I would not be able to watch it, I am hardly ever home by 3 pm.

Back when I saw the preview, I knew .hack//SIGH was gonna be good. It sorta reminds me of a Final Fantasy type anime.

I can’t wait for it to come and hopefully I can get my hands on the boxset.

I have searched up on it alot and i have to say it looks good (it better after how long they have taken to make it) the story is both good and strange so it should make a good RPG 😀 ill buy it but what i am waiting more for is Final Fantasy X-2 its suupposed to come out in fall how do they expect us to wait that long? :eye:

bah.. I dun bother with Cartoon Network anymore since I hardly watch any TV these days. I d/led the first episode instead (fansubbed). I thought it was pretty good.

I got downloading it yesterday and I like it xD I can see why it has become such a hit in a relative short time 😉
Cartoon Network does good with getting the anime, but will probaly rape it and deform it in the general american edited anime version. :p (stereotype, stereotype!)

I haven’t seen the anime yet, but I’d like too. I’m currently working on beating the first game. My brother’s playing it right now as I am typing this message.

That’s why if you’re a true anime fan (who can afford it) you buy the DVDs. The .hack//SIGN series has an excelent soundtrack and it really is one of those series’ that are best watched in a cinamatic environment.
