WHAT the hell

hey,
i was just wondering if anyone thinks that omega weapon was an absolute joke. i had the magus sisters at full with their overdrive, i did the overdrive, it it for about 25000 then i did a couple of other attacks like passado and the one the red girl does then he died, he died so quickly, that all i had managed to do was to steal from him and then he was dead, it was so quick i didn’t even get kimarhi’s nova ronso rage.
i have 2 questions, 1) is their anywehere else to get the nova, i’m thinking that it might be in one of the monsters in the monster arena. and 2, does anyone else think this is redculuse( either way, i had tidus hitting for 25000 regular attack so he wouldn’t have lasted long anyways.

Take note you will fight Omega Weapon 2 times. From what I have read you havent fought the second one. Though the second one has more hp, he is just as weak. I was as disapointed as you are now. And if you want Nove, fight Nemesis. You can unlock Nemesis by, capturing 10 species of ALL fiends, and defeat ALL Monster Arena bosses. You will also get a neat bonus for unlocking Nemeses ^_^

No, I don’t think you fight Omega 2 times… You fight Ultima and Omega in the Omega Dungeon… Omega’s at the far end and he does have more damage… The first one you’re talking about must be Ultima if I remember right…

Oh, Nemesis is WAY WAY harder with WAY WAY more HP… You get Nemesis by catpuring 10 of every fiend from all the areas and you beat all the other Original, Species, and Area monsters at the Monster Arena… Trust me, Nemesis is hard…

You do have to fight Omega twice, but the first is a hologram or something. i agree that both Omega’s were fairly easy as they could only do around 3-4000 damge in any one move, plus they were slow as hell to have turns (I got about three attacks with each character in the time he had one!) But you wanted to make it harder you could try without using the Magnus Sister, or any Summons.

Omega Weapon is a joke. He has 99,999 HP, so I just killed him in one hit with Anima’s overdrive, Oblivion. Not before stealing 99 Gambler’s Spirits from him though, and learning Kimahri’s Nova. And Neo’s right, if you still want Nova, you need to unlock Nemesis.

And no, there are not two Omegas. The other one is indeed Ultima, an even weaker weapon. I didn’t even bother defeating him. I just stole as many Doors to Tomorrow as I could from him and then bribed him for 99 Pendulums.

I agree that Omega Weapon was tooooooooooooo easy that I accidentlly killed him i didn’t even get the cchance to steal……..

i killed Ultima Weapon before i could bribe him, and well, it was a joke….then i heard you could fight omega…..i though ‘wow, a challenge’, coz i haven’t had one in ages (near uber stats), and well, i kicked that as well…

Thing is collecting 10 monsters is ridiculosly (spelling?) boring…so i dont have Nemesis, but i have that other harder one, forgot neam now….and i could always fight Dark Aeons, but meh?

untill you beat nemesis, you aren’t aloud to say anything in the game is a joke. it bugs me when people think they’re sooo good cuz they beat omega weapon and thought it was easy. of course its easy. you do 25,000 for fucks sake. i’m not saying thats alot, cuz it isnt.

now try and do a NSG (no sphere grid) Omega weapon game. its very easy. i’m trying to do a NSG nemesis game right now…. xD

Um, sorry, but he is a joke. A weapon that can be killed with one hit from an Aeon’s overdrive is a joke. You can’t compare him to Nemesis. Nemesis has 10,000,000 HP, that’s about 100X Omega’s and attacks that hit one or all of your characters for 99,999, whereas Omega’s lucky if he even gets a decent attack in before you kill him.

I just have one question: how? What’s your strategy? I can’t see how you’d beat him, let alone even get very far.

of course hes a joke. if you level up, then hes easy. but to some people, who have lives (unlike me) are weak. so they found it hard.

i haven’t even made it to nemesis yet. and i’ll be able to beat him. its been done. go to google, search for a strategy. i completed a NSG game. i’m at the monster arena now. i just started catching monsters though. so far i have 10 in Besaid, and kilika. and in the calm lands and gagazet i just need a few more.

NSG is easy. you just need the balls to take on the challenge.

Ultima Weapon was a pussy. I defeated him with Tidus’s Blitz Ace, without Caladbolg. What a wuss.

Omega was not much different. I beat him with Attack Reels from Wakka, without World Champion.

Nemesis, albeit time-consuming, is still a pussy. It’s extremely easy to just beat him without even letting him hit you. I post my secrets on how to beat these guys easily up here all the time, but my exact words are used in walkthroughs that are submitted to GameFAQs. Without my consent. They call that plaigarism. I sued one guy already.
