Macalania Woods Butterfly Challenge

Okay, anyone have any good tips for this? I finally beat one of them, the one where you can talk to the guy at the beginning, but I still need to get the other one in order to get Kimahri’s sigil. It seems like I always end up running into one of the red butterflies, or I’m too careful and I end up taking too much time checking the positions and can’t make it to the end in time. Am I right in thinking that the color of the butterfly of many colors when capture it to start the game has some bearing on the positions of the butterflies, or am I just imagining things?

Oh, and please don’t direct me to any maps of the area. I’ve already seen them, thanks.
