Question about Adel

I don’t know if this has been mentioned at all here, but is Adel a woman or man? (Haha, just like Quina from FFIX.) Adel looks like a man, especially during the FMV when Seifer pushed Rinoa into her, trying to merge them together. But a lot of times Adel is referred to as a woman. I need some clarification…

I think you pretty muched sumed it up in your question,I would say that Adel is at least mostly woman…?…….only because she is a Sorceroress and there for would have to be a woman….Maybe she just isn’t human,that’s all……..(shudders)….

Well, if believing is… well… believing, then I guess that Adel is a woman, since that’s what all the characters believe. I guess just what was said. She’s a sorceress. Sorceress=woman

Any of you seen an episode of the League Of Gentlemen, I think its only broadcasted in Britain.

Anyway, in TLoG, is a trans-sexual cab driver call Bab’s. (Started off Man –> Woman) Well his/her operation went wrong, so now has like all the pubic hair of a man, broken voice of a man, but can have baby….don’t worry, he/she does have a ‘you know what’…..

So what i’m concluding here is, well perhaps Adel is like Bab’s?

Well, i had that problem when doing that FF8 story of mine a while back. I concluded that Adel is an it and referred to it as it. Though a female would be a better conclusion.

As already mentioned, she is referred to as a woman throughout the game; and also ‘Sorceress’ is female only, the male equivelant is a ‘Sorcerer’. There are no Sorcerers in the game, it seems that only females can gain the sorceress powers.

I guess it’s similar to Kuja in FF9. Many people thought he was female when they first saw him. Adel was just the opposite; she does sort-of look like a man. Quina’s gender, on the other hand, was never actually confirmed. :p

She just had too many steriods :B or Odin drugged her o_O when trying to get her into sleep but something went wrong and she got a whee bit overweight. Can’t say that about Kuja ^__^

Yeah, she does look like a man but she has to be a woman as a Sorcereress is a female version of a Sorcerer who is a male.

It doesn’t have breasts, and looks like a Backstreet Boy, so I’m saying it’s neuter.
