I need help

I am very stuck every time i try going run past omaga on ffv he fight me and kills me how do I kill him I have all the 12 wepons and I am level 99 :alien:

Hmm, Omega. That %&$@ing thing. Next to Shinryu, it’s one of the toughest bosses in FFV. Well, here’s what it says in the FFV guide in my old Xpert Gamer magazine:

"Normal way to beat this boss.:

Certain types of Bolt can affect Omega, so casting it can do some slight damage. Omega is though enough to kill off your party with a single attack, so it’s best to avoid him all together.

Quick and Dirty way to beat this boss:

Make 3 Sorcerers with the two-sword double attack set-up and cast Bolt on your swords. This is the only thing that works.

Level: 119 (!), HP: 55 530, Weakness: Bolt."

Other than that, there is really nothing else I can offer, as I haven’t reached that part of FFV yet!

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">I just ran straight past Omega. The first time I saw him I couldn’t avoid him, he ran into me and killed me easily (I was only L36-40 at the time). There’s quite a bit of space where you can get around him. Just wait until he moves out of the way, then run around him as best you can. He wasn’t too hard to avoid. But if you do want to kill him, I can’t really help; I didn’t exactly want to take him on with a L36-40 party. :p

Here’s the basics:
Omega uses a lot of fire based attacks, so you want fire rings on all your characters. Not all of his attacks are fire, so heal with Cure3 when needed. You need everyone as a Mime, with the !Sword ability and use Bolt3 sword. Use !SShot, have two swords in each hand and he’ll go down quickly. More on that page if you wanna check it out.

You dont have to Fight Omega.. You can run right past him! Easily, just wait for him to Move out of the way and then run right past him and dont touch him.. 😀 😉

I know you’re new, Rubicant, so I’m just letting you know that we don’t like threads to come back from more than a couple weeks because chances are that not only a lot of people who posted in the thread aren’t posting anymore, or don’t care about the thread anymore. Especially if it is 2 years old. If you would like to make a new thread on similar topics that is always fine, but try to keep from reviving older threads. The classics forum tends to bed a little bit more relaxed about this because it doesn�t get as many posts in general. However, a 2-year-old thread is a little extreme.
