How Can I Change the Prizes in League Blitzball Play?

Does anyone know a way to change the prizes for the league games, other than resetting the Blitzball stats?

I’m working on the the Jupiter Sigil (I have all of Wakka’s reels, of course). I have not begun playing the current league games yet, and first place prize is a megalixer or something worthless like that. If I reset the player data, the prizes change and Jupiter Sigil is the first place prize; but I’d like to get it without loosing all my blitzball progress. Any ideas?

That’s kinda drastic,all you need to do is either not play in it and it will change,or you can play some exhibition games where your players don’t get any exp.,either way ,it should eventually change ,that’s what I did when there was a prize I didn’t need for a league or championship game.

Once the prizes are set and you "confirmed" them (by looking at them), the prizes will always be the same no matter what. The only way to change the prizes is to beat that league (all 10 games) and hope you get the Jupiter Sigil in the next league…

The Exhibition Games thing works w/Tournaments (not changing the prices but getting a whole new tournament w/new prizes), not for leagues.

No they’re not,unless you’ve already entered that league or tournement,they will change.

or you can always save before and if you dont have the prize you want offered then reset and hope it is next time

Thanks for you suggestions; Vivi is right. The reset/play another game methods only change tournament prizes. In order to change the League prizes, it seems you must eiother play through all 10 games or reset the player data.

I did enjoy it for the first 20 games of blitzball, but now it’s just a tool to get the Jupiter Sigil. It was much quicker to reset the data and re-recruit a few people than to play 10 League games. I was worried about not having the Jecht Shot, but it worked out. I’m 9 games in and I haven’t even been scored on!
