Oh dear god!! Can you imagine the size of the muscles on the actors XD Fox better be prepared to lose some serious amounts of dough on this one :notgood:

FOX isn’t exctly known for making the best decisions,especally regarding cartoons of anykind,so I guess you could say they’re just staying in-line with their history and character.

I would like to see the actor/actress who plays Piccolo in costume. Green skin…yukk

I was at the door of an anime store waiting for someone and two kids came out of the store, yelling and screaming at how cool this movie will be. Poor, misguided children…

Lol…good god I’d just pay the admission for the movie just to see the looks on the kids faces when they realize that the movie sucks ass.

You know there is a chance this film production might be alright and all the little kids are going to love it because there so young! I think there is a good chance that it will be quite entertaining. Even if its not entertaining its still going to make alot of money because its going to be very popular.

anyway. as to the movie. yes, unless the directors and writers are absolute geniouses who understand dbz for what it is, then the movie is gonna suck.

(and not even hardcore dbz fans know what dbz is all about. damn posers)

anyway they had this poll for who you think should play goku, i was lauging my ass off at the choicse. they were:

-jackie chan (i think he’s too old. goku looks young :p)
-jet lee (i think he’s too serious, goku is funny)
-robin shou (i voted for him. he has the hair too. its almost long enough :D) and
-jean claude van damme (he’s not even asian. i dont know why they gave that option..-_-)

Jet lee would make a good grown up gohan, though, or maybe even vegeta. I personally like Jet a lot more than I like robin. Jet is a better actor, IMO.

its been at almost 8 years am waiting for this movie… but i wonder if it will reach the expectation of the fans, its sure live action movies have greatly improve (devilman) but would it not simply end into a movie 99% made with virtual images?

They’re starting off with Dragonball. It’s currently being filmed and is scheduled to be released in theaters August of 2008. Can’t remember the day but there you have it.
