A Dumb FF7 poem

I wrote this in the POV of Aeris, when i finished the game. I was so emotional then, so i decided this was perfect.
It was inspired by the Aeris.Cloud pairing so… uh..yea…

Forever Altared

my life was forever altared
the day i saw your face
i knew that you were different
you seemed so out of place

you stuttered when you spoke
your eyes had a special glow
i asked where you were from
you didn’t seem to know

but i knew deep inside
there was nothing i could do
my life was forever altared
because i fell in love with you

That’s not dumb at all!

firstly … gah! … take pride in your work silly, don’t call it dumb!!! It’ll help other people admire what you have achieved …

it’s really beautiful and emotional, it scans well with a good rhythm and the rhyming is a nice touch

Heh, that was a pretty ruley poem CE and it means a lot more after you played FF7. It wasn’t full of good emotions though and it seemed a bit too uh, simple to write. No offence…

A short and sweet poem about a simple love story but it was well written. I bet you could have made a longer, better poem but I wouldn’t add or subtract anything from that poem.
