My dissent skews the lines in my mind
Self torment screws the times in my life
My lament can confuse and intertwine with my cries
Excellence I can lose, drink some wine, then it dies…

But I make it flow like a river
Figure out the next emotion to deliver
Because feelings at any time are diverse
And it seems as if I’m moving in reverse

I can smile, make you believe it’s not a facade
Because denial, it allows you to sit there and nod

And so I sit…
