Preface: Woot…my first ever completed fan fic. Okay, this is a small description of the new bonds growing between Piper, Phoebe, and Paige (for those of you who don’t know, it’s based on the tv show Charmed, so unless you watch it you probably won’t really get the point of this) and how Prue is sad at the fact that she can’t be with them. The scene takes place after Paige agrees to move in with Piper and Phoebe.

Fan Fic: Paige Matthews walked around her new room, gazing intently at the walls. So this is where Prue lived… she thought sadly. Paige couldn’t blame Piper and Phoebe for being a bit hostile to her. After all, she had lost loved ones too. Thinking about her parents (her adoptive parents) put tears in her eyes as Paige brushed some loose black hair away from her face.

"Paige?" Phoebe knocked on the door.

"Oh, yeah. Um, come in!" Paige answered, thrusting the picture of her mother under a pillow.

Phoebe Halliwell, a spunky yet mature woman, strolled into the room while carrying some towels. "Well, er, here’s some towels you might need. Hope you enjoy your stay."

"Phoebe, this isn’t a hotel," said an annoyed voice in the doorway.

Startled, Paige looked up and saw her other sister (Half-sister, Paige thought), Piper grinning. Piper walked inside and sat down on the bed, leaning on Phoebe’s shoulder. Phoebe was leaning on Paige’s shoulder and the three smiled at each other.

Far away during this scene, there was a young woman who looked very similar to Piper, Phoebe, and Paige. She was standing on clouds and tears dripped from her eyes. The woman gazed intently at Paige. Softly she whispered, "Welcome home, Paige."

"Prue? What in the name of heavens are you doing here?" said an old scraggly yet upbeat voice.

The woman’s grandmother walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder. "They really are sisters now, huh?"

Nodding, Prue continued to observe her sisters. They had gotten up from Paige’s bed (My old bed, thought Prue) and walked downstairs to the kitchen. They were laughing as Phoebe turned on the television, Piper started cooking, and Paige was sitting down, chatting happily. "Piper…Phoebe…I’ll miss you guys," choked Prue.

Paige suddenly stopped talking. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait, did you hear that?" she exclaimed.

Phoebe lowered the volume of the TV and Piper stopped chopping up some tomatoes. "What? What’s wrong?" asked Piper.

"Nothing. I just thought I heard something," whispered Paige.

"Piper…Phoebe…Paige…"

A soft wind burst through the kitchen as the three stared at one another, wide-eyed. The soft voice spoke again.

"Piper…"

Piper panicked and dropped some onions. "What?!" she yelled.

"Phoebe…"

Not saying anything, Phoebe continued to look astonished.

"Paige…"

Now looking terribly worried, Paige joked, "Is there anything in the Book of Shadows about kitchen ghosts who wail your name?"

Up in heaven, Prue was smiling. "Naw, I doubt it," she answered for Paige. Of course, Paige hardly heard her answer but nevertheless.

Spreading her arms, Prue gazed at the new Power of Three and flew away.
