The other day, whilst browsing the internet, I came across a site discussing a "sequel" to Final Fantasy 6. From what I understood, this project wasn’t actually done by square, rather, just some programmers who had loved the game that much. Unfortunately, the sequel they speak of has been shelved, but I did find a demo available to download. It’s entertaining, if nothing else, if you want to give it a play and give me your take on it.

EDIT: This link isn’t going to work unless you copy/paste it.

This sounds like it could have been a neat idea. I’ll download the demo when I have a chance and see what I think of it. I’ll come back and edit later with my opinion.

Ive heard about this some long time ago. Or maybe I have heard about another FF6 sequel made by fans. Those fanfic rpgs are popular… I wonder what happened to that Chrono Trigger 2 project that I have read about some months ago…

However… I could not endure this demo for long. I… alos dont see the need of making a sequel… but oh well.

***La la la la la… Spoilers Contained Within… La la la la la***

I can appreciate the love people have for the game, but the ending seemed fairly final to me. I mean, Kefka’s dead, the Espers have all died, and the party escaped to re-build the world. I can’t think of anything else they can do.

Still, I’ll peruse the demo somewhen. Might be worth looking at.

No, I was talking about a fan sequel of chrono Trigger, thank you very much for informing me about the existence of this game that has been standing in my shelf for one year and a half.

I can understand fan’s wanted to put together a sequel to FF6 but what Bahamut ZERO said was fairly true, there’s nothing left. What would they make it about time travel? I really don’t understand. Ah well, FF6 is a great game.

Yeaaaah…you DBZ fans are al so stupid! ^^

Any way…
I think it’s cool that they wanna make a sequel…
I know I guy who used to be here at the shrine who was trying to make a prequel…that would be cool!
=O““`
Like Bahamut ZERO said, the end seemed like, well, it had ended! There wasn’t that much left to see, over and done with as far as I’m concerned. So, why not go to before the begining, as oppose to after the end? ^^

Edit: I just played the demo, pretty interesting, but in my opinion if they kill off Celes, my fave character, then I would have to beat them to a bloody pulp =P
