Wakka’s overdrive

I read somewhere that Wakka’s "aurochs reels" are more powerful the more original Aurochs members are on your team. I’ve never gotten the Aurochs reels and I’d like to this time, but the only original members I have are Tidus, Wakka and Keepa. I know of at least one original Aurochs who’s on another team. Is there any way to prevent Jassu from staying with the Luca Goers once his contract with them expires? (An Aurochs joined the Goers. Have to love that irony… But then, I’ve got two Al Bhed and two Guado on my team; that’s even worse.)

I saw an option for "data reset" in the blitzball main menu. Will this bring back my original team? I don’t care if the characters lose their abilities; Blitz is too easy as it is. Will this also reset how many battles Wakka needs to fight before getting the Aurochs reels?

If you don’t care much about blitz ball I’d reset the data once you have auroch reels and the jupiter sigil then just go get wakka again.

But if you just want a player from another team then play exibition matches with them till he has only one game left on his contract(you can forfiet the games to make it go by faster or play league if he’s got a lot of games left) when he has one game left save then just play an exibition match and forfiet if the team re-hires him then reset and tri again.

Wow, blitz is actually challenging now. 🙂

blitz is only challenging if you want it to be. make sure you have jecht shot. if you dont have it you can go back on the boat and get it, anytime.

The easiest way to get Wakka’s Overdrives/Sigil is to reset the data everytime until that item you want shows up as a prize. It might be hard to win but try to find at least 1 or 2 characters that is good at a low level and you’ll fly get everything.

But since I like Blitzball and it took me a long time to get Jecht Shot 2, I’ll just do it the old way. =P
