Up to now, I’ve found this game the longest last appeal of all GC games. It’s excellent, especially for hard-core Sonic fans like me, and raising those little Chaos is hell fun. What do others think?

Well, I played Sonic Adventure 2 in the now "dead" Dreamcast. I had loads of fun with it, enjoyed every minute of it. Raised the Chao, uploaded it to my VMU, and so on.

Then I bought the GC version of it…. which didn’t really amaze me a bit. Mostly thats because I’ve played the whole game already (Whole Game = Get all A ranks and Emblems, pretty much a completed File) and playing it the second time wasn’t that great.

The added 2 Player Options were nice, I still hate the shooting games and levels, and the camera still sucks. But a good port over by Sega.

I just don’t recommend anyone who beat Sonic Adventure 2 for DC to do it again on Gamecube.

I was seriously thinking of buying Sonic Adventure 2 for my Gamecube, but then I got sidetracked…*glares at stack of rented anime* I think I will be buying it in due time. I’ve heard a lot of positive things about it.

I’m currently in the proces of getting all A ranks which is quite annoying to say at least.
The game looks alright on the GC and it has some nice touches, but the fucking annoying camara from time till time makes it really hard to play.
The chao’s are cool xD o_o So ‘cute’

Yeah, the Chaos are cute, sorta. But getting A rank for every part is almost impossible. Like finishing Radical Highway in under 4 minutes WITH an A rank. O_O need help there.

Here is my best advice… X_X

Use Light Dash whenever you can.
Never roll
Time every Ramp Jump
Try not to get hit
Time every Swing Pole but do it quickly.
and Finally

If you aren’t by the Big Drop (the second rocket) with ~1:40 or more, better to just start over from there.

If you miss any Poles that could boost you up, start over.

The rest of it is just don’t slam into the walls, that will take off seconds. I had only one second left when I reached the goal. X_X

(Oh and, I lent out my GC version to my friends… are you sure it’s 4 minutes… because in the DC version, it’s 3 Minutes and 4 minutes doesn’t seem so hard.)

At first, i thought it was an OK game, but nearer the end it definatly picked up. Some of the later levels are extremely challenging, but moreover they’re fun. Especially that last boss…
