Sometimes I think… (Sister-work)

… my sister is better than me! Look at her drawings. She is mere fifteen years old! How good will she be when she gets older? In four years when she will be as old as I am now… she will be an awesome artist, I know it!
This makes me so sad (because I should have practiced more) and so proud (because I influenced her to start drawing manga-ish)…
I will post the links without asking for her permission. Hehehe.

I’ll post my opinion about your sister pictures.

The first picture: Yep, this is quite good, but the character hands is too long.

The second picture: This is the most excellent one ^^

Say to your sister to keep it up 😛

The third picture: This is also good ^^, but there is something wrong with the her foot.

I say all of this in order to make your sister realized her mistake and improve her ability so she will never make the same mistake, that’s all.

P.S: Yeah, your sister is great. Someday, she probably will design a character for a new anime 😉

There are too many good artists out there these days. And most of them can cg better than me. Your sister is one of those crazy talented ppl. XD

The third picture reminds me of Lodoss. Is the person in the bandana suppose to be Parn? If he is then his hair is too long.

Wow, your sister is pretty talented. She’s be a pretty good artist when she’s older.

Wow! That second one is amazing 🙂 . In fact, they are ALL really good. I’m really impressed. She should have submitted something to the drawing contest… we need more contestants :p . But damn, those are really good.

The girl’s right arm is doing something weird in that first one though 😉 .

It’s things like that that get me depressed. I used to think that drawing was my specialty, that it was one of the only thing I’m good at. But everyday I see more and more people who are my age or younger that are better than me. Oh well. Maybe I’ll post something here someday to see what you guys think.

Great drawings though. Your sister is very talented. I like all of them. Tell her to keep it up.

Ahh… now please imagine my situation: I see her become so great, I am both proud and feel inferiour. At least I can critizice her.

As you mentioned now and then, one of her weaknesses is to get the right length of arms, legs and stuff. But since I keep telling her that and since she�s already made progress… I don�t mind that.

It�s nothing to do with Lodoss. The characters from pic 3 are from a story she�s made up herself (Well, she is still making it up.) They are her own.

CRIKEY!!!! I’m blown away. That is some truly amazing artwork. As has been mentioned a few times, only the proportions of the body are at fault. It takes a while to become good at them, but when you do 😀
