Two unrelated questions (one about stats, other about blitzball)

1) Is it possible to give a character 255 strength? I’m near the end of the game and I don’t think any of my characters are stronger than 60. And is it possible to cause more than 9999 damage by attacking?

2) Is it just me or is blitzball way too easy? I won 10-0 the other day. :eye:

Yes… you need a LOT of strength spheres, which can be won in the Monster Arena. You basically go around, and fill empty nodes/get rid of Strength +1, 2, 3 nodes. 😮

You need the "Break Damage Limit" in order to cause more than 9999 damage. I think you need 99 Dark Matters though.. or you can just pick up an ultimate weapon 😉

It is if you level up. It’s damn hard during the Luca tournament and the first few games you play, especially if you don’t have Jecht Shot.

1a: In the Monster Arena, you can buy Clear Spheres after you catch ten of every monster. So all you have to do is go around and capture the monsters, then go buy a Clear Sphere, use that Clear Sphere on a lesser node like Strength +1, and then use a Strength Sphere to make it +4. That’s what I did and even YUNA has 255 Strength.

1b: All Ultimate Weapons have Break Damage Limit added to them once you find both the Crest and Sigil of the corresponding planet. The harder way is to use Dark Matter x60 on a weapon. Dark Matters aren’t easy to find, yanno.

2: Blitzball is way too easy. I wish I could play against other people because all I do is score and it takes longer to go through the menus than the game lasts. Last game I played, I scored 9 goals in the first half with the same person. Now how sad is that?
