Legendary Weapons and Cloudy Mirror

When I attempt to go up the translucent path (I already told the husband that his wife and child were waiting somewhere else) there’s some idiot standing in the way of the path that I would take to ‘charge up’ the cloudy mirror. the playonline FFX guide doesn’t help with this either, I followed the instructions exactly. Anybody know what I havn’t done? or what I did do that I shouldn’t have done?

Try talking to both of the parents multiple times until they repeat themselves. I think that should work. Good Luck!

You have all of them reunited? They should be in the Calm Lands at the Al Bhed shop if you do.

If they are, then do you have any of the Ultimate Weapons (i.e. Caladbolg, Godhand, World Champion, Spirit Lance, Masamune, Nirvana, Onion King)?

If you have any of those, then do you have any Celestial items like any Sigils or Crests in your Key Items inventory?

Those are the only ways I know of that would make him stand there. Unles, of course, you cheated and used a GameShark. Then I can’t help you at all, because that’s cheating and all.

It was the talk to the parents multiple times thing. Square really should make that clear in their playonline stratagy guide…The game actually made me throw my controller when I couldn’t get the man to move out of the way.

Hee hee, don’t worry about it guys I had the exact same problem. Yes, the quality of Square’s guides are going down a bit. 🙁
