kweh??? chocobo question

I DUNNO IF ITS A SPOILER BUT I WILL MARK IT SO JUST INCASE

i have a gold chocobo, and ive fed him loads of Dead Peppers. the moogle says something about getting him to Paradise, and Dead Peppers have something to do with it. what do i have to do to make him fly, and find the rest of the treasure (i have all the peices of the chocograph).

so, would someone be able to help me please? thanks

To fly just walk Choco to a forest and press the X button and he’ll take off ^^;;

In the most northwestern part of the map there is a hidden island, find the crack in the mountains on the island and use a dead pepper on it… this will allow Choco to dig open the entrance the the Chocobo Paradise…

anyway, thanks alot…now i know that Dead Peppers have a use other than featuring in a Moogle cookery show :p

Theres also a place called chocobo Sky Garden you can get there bye using the clues on the chocograph to find a shadow on the ground(it moves when you leave the world map)once you find the shadow fly over it and use a dead pepper this should blast that chocobo all the way to the garden.

yeah, i’ve seen the shadow. i thought it was just Garlands airship…but now i own the airship, it cant be :eye: lol

also if you use a dead pepper while on the bubbles near Quan’s dwelling you’ll find some treasure….

Moreover, there is a thread just below this one where I asked how to find all of the treasures. Lucky for you, Kitten listed all the treasures, where to find them, and what is in them.

I’ll elaborate further:

DO NOT SCROLL DOWN IF YOU WANT TO FIND THEM YOURSELF

1)Foaming Water Beneath Quan’s Dwelling

Treasures: Ore(x9), Topaz(x15), Tiger Racket(x1), Red Rose Card(x1).

Advice: First, return to Quan’s Dwelling on the mist continent. Enter the cave. Do you remember that there is an edge of the patio overlooking the ocean, where you can see the foaming water below? Search there and choose to use a Dead Pepper. Zidane then reappears on the World Map, riding Choco on the patio. Use the Dead Pepper and you will see Choco swan-dive into the bubbling water, retrieving the treasure.

2)Foaming Water Directly North Of Iifa Tree

Treasures: Potion(x50), Hi-Potion(x25), Ether(x9), Elixir(x7).

Advice: There’s a foaming water in the ocean at the extreme north of Iifa tree. Search around that area carefully and you should see it.

3)Foaming Water Directly Between Mist Continent and Outer Continent

Treasures: Straw Hat(x8), Pearl Armlet(x8), Aloha T-shirt(x7), Sandals(x8).

Advice: The foaming water is somewhere a little southwest of the southeastern peninsula on the Outer Continent.

4)Foaming Water At Southern Tip Of Forgotten Continent

Treasures: Remedy(x10), Black Robe(x1), Genji Gloves(x1), Blue Narciss Card(x1).

Advice: The foaming water is somewhere in one of the lagoons in the southern part of the Forgotten Continent. The foaming water lies on the west side of the Forgotten Continent at the southern tip.

5)Mountain Crack On Eastern Part Of Lost Continent

Treasures: Lapis Lazuli(x41), Rosetta Ring(x1), Protect Ring(x1), Airship Card(x1).

Advice: The mountain crack is directly east to the Fire Shrine. Examine the mountains to the east of the Fire Shrine and you should find the crack quite easily.

6)Mountain Crack On Northeastern Part Of Forgotten Continent

Treasures: Eye Drops(x19), Madain’s Ring(x1), Genji Helmet(x1), Hilda Garde 1 Card(x1).

Advice: There’s a forest nearby the crack in the mountain. The crack is a little northeast from the mountain crack near Oeilvert. The crack is on the mountain that faces south.

7)Mountain Crack Near Oeilvert

Treasures: Maiden Prayer(x1), Dragon’s Hair(x1), Gauntlets(x1), Odin Card(x1).

Advice: There’s a forest nearby the crack in the mountain. The crack is somewhere a little northwest of Oeilvert. The crack is on the mountain that faces north.

8)Exact Former Location Of Shimmering Island

Treasures: Aquamarine(x10), Ultima Weapon(x1), Maximillian(x1), Invincible Card(x1).

Advice: You can ONLY do this in disc four, after World of Terra has been destroyed. Use Choco’s SEA ability and move Choco to a position where the Shimmering Island once stood. You must position Choco exactly on the dot where "Shimmering Island" is shown on the World Map. Use a Dead Pepper and Choco will retrieve the treasures. Congratulations!!! You have obtained Zidane’s strongest weapon, Ultima Weapon.
