I see that many sites have pictures from the game. Is anyone who can tell me how they take the pictures? What program do I need for this? I have the PC version.

Well I am not sure if the game has a built in picture system but during the game u can take a screen by pressing alt+prntscrn buttons.

If you have the PC version, press "alt" and "print screen" at the same time. (Print Screen is the button to the right of the F12 button. It has SysRq written under it.) Then go into Microsoft Paint or a photo editor and press ctrl-v. Then save the picture onto your harddrive.

If you have the PS version, as far as I know it’s impossible to make a screenshot.

Thanks Neo Xzhan and Fujin for help. I wait other opinions too.

It would help if you said which version you have. Do you play FFVIII on a playstation or a computer?

You can make a video of the game too.

If you have a Playstation version, then just take the A/V out cables and plug them into your VHS or DVD player or something, then put a tape or DVD in and press record. I’m not totally sure if you can do it with a DVD player or not, since I never tried.

If you can, and you have a DVD player in your computer tower, then you can just load it up and save it to your HDD.

If you have the PC version, I think you can just go into the file, extract what you want, and burn it to a CD or save it to your HDD. You can copy the frames of the CG sequences and put them together to form a music video, or I think you can download a program and modify it or something.

I don’t have the PC version, but I’m sure you can do it with the PSX version. Pretty cool, huh?

If you have the PC version, then yeah, you could just press PrtScrn during an FMV or something.

But if you have the PSX version, you can download PSM play from here (http://www.zophar.net/utilities/download/daemon302.zip). Mind you, I haven’t tried it. And since a lot of people use it, I guess it’s sort of legal. ^_^

The PSX is easy to do if you have a PSX Emulator…. but for PC, never tried but I guess the Print Screen thing will work. I think a program called "Snag It" might work as it is used to take screenshots. Even small sections, a nice program.
