Deathguise

I recently bought ff9 blah blah blah and basically i rushed through it and I can’t kill this thing which you fight when you bump into kuja on disc 4 (deathguise i think). Anyway when i fight it I get my ass kicked so what sort of level should I be at?, Who should be in my party?, What attacks work well? and anything else that might be usefull. thanks

Okay depending on what kind of abilities you have, hear is what you can do:

In my opinion(and the way I beat him) when it comes to who is in your party I used Zidane,Freya,Stiener,and either Dagger or Eiko. I know not alot of people used Freya in there final parties, I don’t know why she has a great command. For Freya you should have her use Drangons crest this will do 9999 damage every time. For Stiener his Shock(or was it Climhazzered??) should do the same(9999). I had Zidane steal or attack. And Dagger or Eiko can heal.

For a different strategy the offical strategy guid tells you to have everyone epuip with the insomniac ability and have Quina use Night at the end of each round. If everything goes as planned this should put Deathguise to sleep and keep him that way.

Well, I find that you need to be at least Lvl 55 to get by that sucka and at least 60 to win. You are lucky to be this far if you don’t have 50.

I was level 70 something. I used Freya, Zidane (duh), Dagger, and Vivi. Flare, Jump, summons… or just plain attack (what I did).

thanks a lot 😀 I killed "that sucka" and completed it now thanks loads. I was at level 57 I think
